All charts will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (July 17).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Challenge met:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Feelings,&#8221; released on Young Money\/Cash Money\/Republic Records and the 1,077th No. 1 in the Hot 100&#8217;s history (which dates to Aug. 4, 1958), soars to No. 1 on the Hot 100 as it likewise leaps to the top of Streaming Songs, rising 2-1 with 71.7 million U.S. streams, up 58 percent, in the week ending July 12, according to Nielsen Music. It also blasts 9-1 on Digital Song Sales with 89,000 downloads sold, up 337 percent, in the same tracking week. On Radio Songs, the track is the highest debut, at No. 29, with 36.5 million audience impressions, up 239 percent, in the week ending July 15.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Feelings&#8221; is the Hot 100&#8217;s top gainer in streaming, sales and airplay, marking the first song to sweep all three honors at No. 1 since Drake&#8217;s own &#8220;God&#8217;s Plan,&#8221; which tripled up on March 3 following the arrival of its official video.<\/p>\n<p>Helping power the advances of &#8220;Feelings&#8221; is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/hip-hop\/8465140\/drake-does-in-my-feelings-dance-challenge-video\">&#8220;In My Feelings&#8221; challenge<\/a>. Last Wednesday (July 10), Instagram comedian Shiggy, the creator of The Shiggy dance craze, which synchs to Drake lyrics,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BlDnzsrBKXa\/?hl=en&amp;taken-by=theshiggyshow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">posted a video<\/a>\u00a0of Drake deftly performing the routine onstage. Since the dance&#8217;s inception, such stars as Will Smith, Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson, Kevin Hart and Odell Beckham Jr. have all\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/hip-hop\/8464402\/drake-in-my-feelings-dance-challenge-videos\">taken on the challenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drake dethrones Drake:<\/strong>\u00a0As &#8220;Feelings&#8221; replaces &#8220;Nice&#8221; atop the Hot 100, Drake is the first artist to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8342070\/acts-replaced-themselves-atop-hot-100-chart\">dethrone himself at the summit<\/a>\u00a0since&#8230;Drake. On the April 21-dated chart, &#8220;Nice&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8342063\/drake-nice-for-what-hot-100-number-one-debut\">debuted at No. 1<\/a>, ending the reign of his &#8220;Plan.&#8221; Drake joins only Justin Bieber, Usher and the Beatles in having swapped titles atop the tally twice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 6 God&#8217;s record-breaking 6th Hot 100 No. 1, the most among rappers:<\/strong>Drake tallies his sixth Hot 100 leader with &#8220;Feelings,&#8221; which follows &#8220;Nice&#8221; (eight total weeks at No. 1), &#8220;Plan&#8221; (11 weeks), &#8220;One Dance,&#8221; featuring WizKid and Kyla (10 weeks, 2016), and his first two toppers as featured on Rihanna hits: &#8220;Work&#8221; (nine weeks, 2016) and &#8220;What&#8217;s My Name?&#8221; (one week, 2010).<\/p>\n<p>Now with six Hot 100 No. 1s, Drake passes Diddy, Eminem and Ludacris, each with five, for the most among rappers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third No. 1 from &#8216;Scorpion&#8217;:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Feelings&#8221; follows &#8220;Nice&#8221; and &#8220;Plan&#8221; as the third Hot 100 No. 1 from\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>. The set is the first album to generate three leaders on the list since Bieber&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Purpose<\/em>, which yielded &#8220;What Do You Mean?,&#8221; &#8220;Sorry&#8221; and &#8220;Love Yourself&#8221; in 2015-16.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third No. 1 of 2018:<\/strong>\u00a0With &#8220;Feelings&#8221; joining &#8220;Nice&#8221; and &#8220;Plan&#8221; in topping the Hot 100 in 2018, Drake is the first artist with three leaders in the same year since Katy Perry, whose &#8220;California Gurls&#8221; (featuring Snoop Dogg), &#8220;Teenage Dream&#8221; and &#8220;Firework&#8221; (all from Perry&#8217;s album\u00a0<em>Teenage Dream<\/em>) all reigned in 2010. Drake is the first male to earn the honor since Usher rolled up four No. 1s in 2004 (all from his\u00a0<em>Confessions<\/em>\u00a0LP): &#8220;Yeah!&#8221; (featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris), &#8220;Burn,&#8221; &#8220;Confessions Part II&#8221; and &#8220;My Boo&#8221; (with Alicia Keys).<\/p>\n<p><strong>40th total week at No. 1:<\/strong>\u00a0Drake posts his 40th career week at No. 1 on the Hot 100. He&#8217;s the seventh act to reach the milestone, following Mariah Carey (79 weeks), Rihanna (60), the Beatles (59), Boyz II Men (50), Usher (47) and Beyonc\u00e9 (42).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seven weeks, seven Hot 100 No. 1s:<\/strong>\u00a0The past seven weeks, including the latest, July 21-dated Hot 100, have encompassed different No. 1s (including songs returning to the top) week-over-week, marking the longest streak of such turnover since late 2010. The streak has comprised Drake&#8217;s &#8220;Plan&#8221; (for 11 weeks) and &#8220;Nice&#8221; (eight); Childish Gambino&#8217;s &#8220;This Is America&#8221; (two);\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/music\/post-malone\">Post Malone<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Psycho,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/music\/ty-dolla-sign\">Ty Dolla $ign<\/a>\u00a0(one); XXXTentacion&#8217;s &#8220;Sad!&#8221; (one); Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin&#8217;s &#8220;I Like It&#8221; (one); and now Drake&#8217;s &#8220;Feelings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Streaming and sales champ:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Feelings&#8221; is Drake&#8217;s record-extending seventh Streaming Songs No. 1; Bieber ranks second with four. Drake adds his 10th Digital Song Sales No. 1, pushing him past Eminem for the most among male acts; overall, Drake ranks fourth on the sales tally, after Taylor Swift (15 No. 1s), Rihanna (14) and Perry (11).<\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 1 in R&amp;B\/hip-hop:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Feelings&#8221; concurrently climbs to No. 1 on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>\u00a0charts. Drake collects his 19th No. 1 on the former survey, moving to within one of Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder&#8217;s record 20 each, and his record-extending 20th No. 1 on the latter list.<\/p>\n<p>Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin&#8217;s &#8220;I Like It&#8221; rebounds 3-2 on the Hot 100 after topping the July 7-dated chart. On Radio Songs, it blasts 6-1 (102.7 million in audience, up 15 percent). Cardi B earns her second Radio Songs No. 1, after &#8220;Finesse,&#8221; with Bruno Mars, which led for four weeks beginning in March. Bad Bunny and Balvin each notch their first leader non the survey.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Like&#8221; makes the greatest positional leap to No. 1 on Radio Songs since Adele&#8217;s &#8220;Hello,&#8221; which also vaulted 6-1 on Nov. 28, 2015. JAY-Z and Alicia Keys&#8217; &#8220;Empire State of Mind&#8221; made the same jump exactly six years earlier (Nov. 28, 2009), while one song has sprung even farther: Kanye West&#8217;s &#8220;Stronger&#8221; pounced 7-1 on Oct. 6, 2007.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Like&#8221; additionally spends its first week atop the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/charts\/summer-songs\">Songs of the Summer<\/a>\u00a0chart, which ranks the top-performing titles on the Hot 100 between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The song supplants Drake&#8217;s &#8220;Nice&#8221; after four weeks in the lead.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/music\/maroon-5\">Maroon 5<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Girls Like You,&#8221; featuring Cardi B, hits a new Hot 100 high, rising 5-3, while Drake&#8217;s &#8220;Nice&#8221; drops 1-4.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hsxGaj7PSoI\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>A week ago (on the July 14-dated Hot 100), Drake logged a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8464454\/drake-hot-100-record-nice-for-what-scorpion\">record seven songs in the top 10 simultaneously<\/a>, concurrent with the chart arrival of\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>. This week, four of those titles depart the top 10, making for notable positional leaps in the region. Ella Mai&#8217;s &#8220;Boo&#8217;d Up&#8221; ascends to the top five, hitting a new peak (11-5), as it leads the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\">Hot R&amp;B Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart for an eighth week. Helping its ascent is its new remix with Nicki Minaj and Quavo, released July 4. Mai&#8217;s breakout hit darts 7-4 on Digital Song Sales (27,000, up 29 percent); 21-8 on Streaming Songs (32.9 million, up 5 percent); and 14-12 on Radio Songs (68.9 million, up 12 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Juice WRLD&#8217;s No. 3-peaking &#8220;Lucid Dreams&#8221; rebounds 16-7 on the Hot 100 and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/music\/ariana-grande\">Ariana Grande<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;No Tears Left to Cry&#8221; hikes 15-8, after reaching No. 3 upon its entrance (May 5), while becoming her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8465475\/ariana-grande-no-tears-left-to-cry-no-1-pop-songs-chart\">third No. 1 on the Pop Songs chart<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Capping the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10 are two Post Malone tracks: &#8220;Psycho,&#8221; which rebounds 12-9, and &#8220;Better Now,&#8221; which powers 24-10 after debuting at its No. 7 high (May 12).
