The set continues at No. 1, earning 145,000 equivalent album units (down 21 percent) in the week ending Aug. 2, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, just 12,000 were in traditional sales, as the album continues to be overwhelmingly\u00a0powered by streaming activity.<\/p>\n<p>The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on\u00a0multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new\u00a0Aug. 11-dated chart (where\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>\u00a0spends a fifth week at No. 1) will be posted in full on\u00a0<em>Billboard<\/em>&#8216;s websites on\u00a0Tuesday, Aug. 7.<\/p>\n<p>Of\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>\u2019s total of 145,000 units earned in the latest tracking week, 123,000 were in SEA units (translating to 169.6 million on-demand audio streams), 11,000 were in TEA units\u00a0and 12,000 were in traditional album sales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Most Weeks at No. 1 in a Year-and-a-Half:<\/strong>\u00a0With a fifth week at No. 1, Scorpion clocks the most weeks at No. 1 for an album since\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/the-weeknd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Weeknd<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<em>Starboy<\/em>\u00a0spent five nonconsecutive weeks atop the list between Jan. 21 and Feb. 11, 2017. The set bowed at No. 1 on the list dated Dec. 17, 2016, and then vacationed from the top slot until Jan. 21, 2017, the first of four more weeks at No. 1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Most Consecutive Weeks at No. 1 in Two Years:<\/strong>\u00a0The last album to spend five weeks in a row at No. 1 was Drake\u2019s\u00a0<em>Views<\/em>, which claimed its first nine weeks at No. 1 between May 21 and July 16, 2016.\u00a0<em>Views<\/em>\u00a0ruled for a total of 13 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1. (<em>Scorpion<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Views<\/em>\u00a0are also the only two albums to spend their\u00a0<em>first<\/em>five weeks at No. 1 since Feb. 2016. Before that,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/adele\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adele<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<em>25<\/em>\u00a0spent its first seven weeks at No. 1, between Dec. 12, 2015 and Jan. 23, 2016. In total,\u00a0<em>25<\/em>\u00a0notched nine nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second-Most Most Total Weeks at No. 1 for a Hip-Hop Artist:<\/strong>\u00a0Drake now has 26 total weeks at No. 1 across his eight leaders. He has now surpassed JAY-Z (25 weeks) to become the sole hip-hop artist with the second-most weeks at No. 1. Among hip-hop acts, only Eminem has more weeks at No. 1\u00a0with 32.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Five of the Top 20 Biggest Streaming Weeks for an Album:\u00a0<\/strong>In the latest tracking week,\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>\u00a0generated 169.6 million on-demand audio streams for its 25 tunes. In turn, that ranks as the No. 20 largest streaming week for an album.\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>\u2019s first four weeks are also currently the Nos. 1, 3, 7 and 12th-biggest streaming weeks overall.<\/p>\n<p>At No. 2 on the Billboard 200,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/kenny-chesney\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kenny Chesney<\/a>\u00a0debuts with his latest studio effort,\u00a0<em>Songs for the Saints<\/em>. The album bows with 77,000 units earned (with 65,000 of that sum in traditional album sales).\u00a0<em>Songs<\/em>\u00a0is Chesney\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/business\/8094510\/kenny-chesney-warner-music-nashville-signs\">debut for Warner Music Nashville<\/a>\u00a0after a long tenure with Sony Music Nashville.<\/p>\n<p><em>Songs<\/em>\u00a0is Chesney\u2019s 15th top 10 album on the Billboard 200, and continues his hit streak of top 10s: since 2004, every one of his 14 charting albums have debuted in the top 10. (He also logged a top 10 with 2002\u2019s No. 1\u00a0<em>No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p>Among country artists, the only acts with more top 10s than Chesney on the Billboard 200 are\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/george-strait\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George Strait<\/a>\u00a0(20),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/garth-brooks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Garth Brooks<\/a>\u00a0(19) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/tim-mcgraw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tim McGraw<\/a>\u00a0(18).<\/p>\n<p><em>Songs<\/em>\u00a0is the latest No. 2-debuting album to be blocked from a No. 1 bow on the Billboard 200 courtesy of\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>\u2019s dominance atop the list. On the July 28-dated chart,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/wiz-khalifa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wiz Khalifa<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<em>Rolling Papers 2<\/em>\u00a0opened in the top slot, while in\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>\u2019s opening week (the July 14 chart),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/florence-the-machine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florence + The Machine<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<em>High as Hope<\/em>\u00a0debuted and peaked in the No. 2 slot. (A silver lining, perhaps: all three acts &#8212;\u00a0Chesney, Khalifa and Florence + The Machine &#8212;\u00a0have previously topped the list at least once before with an earlier album.)<\/p>\n<p>At No. 3 on the new Billboard 200,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/post-malone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Post Malone<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<em>beerbongs &amp; bentleys<\/em>\u00a0is down one slot with 62,000 units (down 5 percent).\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/juice-wrld\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Juice WRLD<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<em>Goodbye &amp; Good Riddance\u00a0<\/em>rises 6-4 with 39,000 units (down 2 percent),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/cardi-b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cardi B<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<em>Invasion of Privacy<\/em>\u00a0is steady at No. 5 with a little more than 38,000 units (down 6 percent) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/xxxtentacion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">XXXTentacion\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0<em>?<\/em>falls two slots to No. 6 with 38,000 units (down 8 percent).<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again<\/em>\u00a0soundtrack retreats 3-7 with 37,000 units (down 24 percent) earned in its third week. Another soundtrack,\u00a0<em>The Greatest Showman<\/em>, moves 8-9 with 28,000 units (down 10 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Two rock bands notch their latest top 10s, as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/halestorm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Halestorm<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/music\/daughtry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daughtry<\/a>\u2019s newest efforts arrive at Nos. 8 and 10, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Halestorm\u2019s\u00a0<em>Vicious<\/em>\u00a0starts at No. 8 with 29,000 units (27,000 in traditional album sales), marking the second top 10 for the band. The act previously visited the region with their last studio effort, 2015\u2019s\u00a0<em>Into the Wild Life<\/em>, which debuted and peaked at No. 5 with 57,000 units earned in its first week.<\/p>\n<p>After a long wait, Daughtry is back with its first new studio set in nearly five years, as\u00a0<em>Cage to Rattle<\/em>\u00a0bows at No. 10 with 26,000 units (24,000 in traditional album sales).\u00a0<em>Cage<\/em>\u00a0is the group\u2019s fifth top 10 effort. The band\u2019s previous studio release, 2013\u2019s\u00a0<em>Baptized<\/em>, debuted and peaked at No. 6.
