The set, which was released on Dec. 7 via Bad Vibes Forever\/EMPIRE, is XXXTentacion\u2019s second No. 1, and it earned 132,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Dec. 13, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 52,000 were in album sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on&nbsp;multimetric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new&nbsp;Dec. 22-dated chart (where&nbsp;<em>Skins<\/em>&nbsp;bows at No. 1) will be posted in full on&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>&#8216;s websites on&nbsp;Tuesday, Dec. 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Skins<\/em>&nbsp;is the first posthumous No. 1 album since Prince\u2019s&nbsp;<em>The Very Best of Prince<\/em>&nbsp;re-entered&nbsp;the chart dated May 6, 2016 at No. 1, following his death on April 21 of that year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Skins<\/em>\u2019 debut week was largely driven by <g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\">streaming<\/g> activity of the album, as it tallied 78,000 SEA units, which equals 121.8 million on-demand audio streams of the set\u2019s tracks.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/lady-gaga\">Lady Gaga<\/a>&nbsp;and Bradley Cooper\u2019s&nbsp;<em>A Star Is Born<\/em>&nbsp;soundtrack climbs 7-4 with 55,000 units. The album has spent its first 10 weeks on the chart inside the top 10, never ranking lower than No. 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/gucci-mane\">Gucci Mane<\/a>&nbsp;scores his fifth top 10 album on the Billboard 200, as&nbsp;<em>Evil Genius<\/em>&nbsp;arrives at No. 5, earning 51,000 units (5,000 in album sales). In total,&nbsp;<em>Evil<\/em>&nbsp;is Gucci Mane\u2019s 21st charting effort, stretching back to 2005\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Trap House<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/travis-scott\">Travis Scott<\/a>\u2019s former No. 1&nbsp;<em>Astroworld<\/em>&nbsp;rises 8-6 with a little more than 44,000 units (down 5 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>XXXTentacion (real name: <g class=\"gr_ gr_6 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"6\" data-gr-id=\"6\">Jahseh<\/g> Onfroy)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/hip-hop\/8461638\/xxxtentacion-dead\">died<\/a>\u00a0on June 18, 2018. Before his death, he notched a pair of top 10 albums with\u00a0<em>Skins<\/em>\u2019 predecessor,\u00a0<em>?<\/em>, which opened at No. 1 on the list dated March 31, 2018. His first top 10 came with\u00a0<em>17<\/em>, which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Sept. 16, 2017 chart. At the time of his death, XXXTentacion was awaiting trial on more than a dozen felony charges and allegations of domestic violence against his then-pregnant girlfriend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/meek-mill\">Meek Mill<\/a>\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Championships<\/em>&nbsp;slips from No. 1 to No. 2 in its second week, as the set earned 129,000 units (down 43 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/michael-buble\">Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/a>\u2019s resilient\u00a0<em>Christmas<\/em>\u00a0album rises 5-3 (57,000 units; up 3 percent) for its highest rank in six years. The set was released in 2011 and spent five weeks atop the list between Dec. 10, <g class=\"gr_ gr_8 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"8\" data-gr-id=\"8\">2011<\/g> and Jan. 7, 2012.\u00a0<em>Christmas<\/em>\u00a0was last in the top 3 on <g class=\"gr_ gr_7 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-del replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"7\" data-gr-id=\"7\">the Dec<\/g>. 29, 2012-dated tally, when it also placed at No. 3. The album has revisited the top 10 of the chart in every holiday season following its 2011 release.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/john-mellencamp\">John Mellencamp<\/a>&nbsp;returns to the top 10 with his highest-charting album in 10 years, as<em>&nbsp;Other People\u2019s Stuff<\/em>&nbsp;debuts at No. 7 (44,000 units, nearly all from album sales). The 10-song covers collection, which marks his 11th top album, brings together previously released tracks Mellencamp recorded between 1993 and 2018.
