All charts (dated June 27) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (June 23).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oNg3M9IJJlY\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Trollz,&#8221; released June 12 on Create Music Group, arrives as the 1,105th No. 1 in the Hot 100&#8217;s nearly 62-year history. It&#8217;s the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/photos\/426225\/billboard-hot-100-number-1-song-debuts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">40th No. 1 in debut<\/a>&nbsp;ever, and the fifth this year, marking a new single-year high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track launches at No. 1 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>&nbsp;chart with 116,000 sold in the week ending June 18, according to Nielsen Music\/MRC Data, and No. 3 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Streaming Songs<\/a>, with 36 million U.S. streams in the same span. It drew 1.2 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending June 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6ix9ine&#8217;s first Hot 100 No. 1, Minaj&#8217;s second:<\/strong>&nbsp;6ix9ine scores his first Hot 100 No. 1. He tallied two prior top 10s, each of which reached No. 3: &#8220;FEFE,&#8221; featuring Minaj and Murda Beatz, in August 2018, and &#8220;Gooba,&#8221; which debuted at No. 3 on the May 23-dated chart, five weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minaj earns her second Hot 100 No. 1 (and 19th top 10) and first topper in a lead role. She previously ruled as featured on Doja Cat&#8217;s &#8220;Say So,&#8221; which led the May 16 chart, following the arrival of its Minaj remix. With &#8220;Say So,&#8221; Minaj set the record for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/business\/chart-beat\/9375563\/doja-cat-nicki-minaj-say-so-number-one\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">most Hot 100 appearances (109) needed for a first No. 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biggest sales week in over a year:<\/strong>&nbsp;Starting with 116,000 sold, &#8220;Trollz&#8221; boasts the highest weekly sales sum since Taylor Swift&#8217;s &#8220;Me!,&#8221; featuring Brendon Urie, soared in with 193,000 (May 11, 2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Trollz&#8221; was on sale in 6ix9ine and Minaj&#8217;s webstores via over a dozen physical\/digital combination offerings (priced from 69 cents to $10) during the tracking week, including an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/hip-hop\/9403886\/tekashi-6ix9ine-nicki-minaj-alternate-version-trollz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">alternate version released June 16<\/a>. Consumers could purchase cassette, CD and vinyl singles (including an autographed CD copy), each with a digital download; the download would be sent to consumers upon purchase, with physical versions due to arrive at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6ix9ine posts his first Digital Song Sales No. 1 and Minaj collects her sixth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Record fifth No. 1 debut of 2020:<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8220;Trollz&#8221; is the fifth song to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2020, following Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande&#8217;s &#8220;Rain on Me&#8221; (June 6); Grande and Justin Bieber&#8217;s &#8220;Stuck With U&#8221; (May 23); The Scotts, Travis Scott and Kid Kudi&#8217;s &#8220;The Scotts&#8221; (May 9); and Drake&#8217;s &#8220;Toosie Slide&#8221; (April 18).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2020 now sports the most Hot 100 No. 1 debuts in a single year &#8212; besting 2018 and 1995, each with four chart-topping entrances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Record-extending 7 straight No. 1 collabs:<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8220;Trollz&#8221; marks the record-extending seventh consecutive collaboration to top the Hot 100. It follows DaBaby&#8217;s &#8220;Rockstar,&#8221; featuring Roddy Ricch (June 13 and 20); &#8220;Rain on Me&#8221; (June 6); Megan Thee Stallion&#8217;s &#8220;Savage,&#8221; featuring Beyonc\u00e9 (May 30); &#8220;Stuck With U&#8221; (May 23); &#8220;Say So&#8221; (May 16); and &#8220;The Scotts&#8221; (May 9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Independent&#8217;s week:<\/strong>&nbsp;With &#8220;Trollz,&#8221; Create Music Group scores its first Hot 100 No. 1. It&#8217;s the first leader on the list for an independent label since Bad Vibes Forever reigned with XXXTentacion&#8217;s &#8220;Sad!&#8221; on the June 30, 2018-dated chart. (A label is considered independent if it currently qualifies for inclusion on&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>&#8216;s Top Independent Albums chart, the methodology of which considers the means in which labels conduct their distribution and revenue-based commercial services.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Go figure(s):<\/strong>&nbsp;As for more numbers \u2026 6ix9ine (real name: Daniel Hernandez) is the seventh act with at least two numerals in its name to top the Hot 100. He follows: 21 Savage, UB40, Stars on 45, 50 Cent, 98 Degrees and 112.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No. 1 R&amp;B\/hip-hop &amp; Rap:<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8220;Trollz&#8221; concurrently opens atop the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>&nbsp;charts, which employ the same multi-metric formula as the Hot 100. 6ix9ine earns his first No. 1 on the former chart and second on the latter, after &#8220;Gooba.&#8221; Minaj scores her sixth No. 1 on each ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DaBaby&#8217;s&#8221;Rockstar,&#8221; featuring Roddy Ricch, drops to No. 2 on the Hot 100, after two weeks at No. 1. The track rules Streaming Songs for a fifth week, with 39.8 million U.S. streams (up 11%), helped by a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/hip-hop\/9401251\/dababy-rockstar-blm-remix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Black Lives Matter remix<\/a>&nbsp;released June 12. It holds at No. 3 on Digital Song Sales, up 12% to 13,000 sold, and jumps 26-14 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radio Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart, up 21% to 31.4 million impressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_VDGysJGNoI\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lil Baby&#8217;s &#8220;The Bigger Picture&#8221; debuts at No. 3 on the Hot 100. The song, released June 12 and which, like the new &#8220;Rockstar&#8221; remix,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/hip-hop\/9402468\/lil-baby-the-bigger-picture-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">addresses the Black Lives Matter movement<\/a>, opens at No. 2 on Streaming Songs (39.1 million U.S. streams) and No. 10 on Digital Song Sales (8,000 sold) and drew 3.6 million in radio reach in the tracking week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lil Baby lands his third Hot 100 top 10 and highest-peaking: &#8220;Drip Too Hard,&#8221; with Gunna, reached No. 4 in October 2018, after &#8220;Yes Indeed,&#8221; with Drake, hit No. 6 that June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With &#8220;Trollz&#8221; and &#8220;The Bigger Picture&#8221; debuting at Nos. 1 and 3 on the Hot 100, respectively, the chart welcomes concurrent top-three arrivals for the just the fifth time ever, although it&#8217;s the second such double-up in a month, with both involving 6ix9ine: On the May 23 chart, Grande and Bieber&#8217;s &#8220;Stuck With U&#8221; bounded in at No. 1 and 6ix9ine&#8217;s &#8220;Gooba&#8221; began at No. 3. The only other such twofers: Adele&#8217;s &#8220;Hello&#8221; and Bieber&#8217;s &#8220;Sorry&#8221; (Nos. 1&amp;2, Nov. 14, 2015); Clay Aiken&#8217;s &#8220;This Is the Night&#8221; and Ruben Studdard&#8217;s &#8220;Flying Without Wings&#8221; (Nos. 1&amp;2, June 28, 2003); and Celine Dion&#8217;s &#8220;My Heart Will Go On&#8221; and Will Smith&#8217;s &#8220;Gettin&#8217; Jiggy Wit It&#8221; (Nos. 1&amp;3, Feb. 28, 1998).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, eight songs have debuted in the Hot 100&#8217;s top three in 2020, just over halfway through the year; In all of 2019, nine songs started in the region, after a record 10 launched in the top three in 2018. Along those lines, &#8220;Trollz&#8221; is the ninth song to hit No. 1 for the first time this year (with, again, a single-year-record five debuting on top); 2020 marks the first year with nine new No. 1s before July since 2007, when 10 hits rose to the top by that point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan Thee Stallion&#8217;s former one-week Hot 100 No. 1 &#8220;Savage,&#8221; featuring Beyonc\u00e9, falls 2-4 and The Weeknd&#8217;s former four-week leader &#8220;Blinding Lights&#8221; dips 3-5. The latter leads&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radio Songs<\/a>&nbsp;for an 11th week, with 74.3 million in audience (down 2%), and the multi-metric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-and-b-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot R&amp;B Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart for a 14th frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doja Cat&#8217;s former one-week Hot 100 No. 1 &#8220;Say So&#8221; slips 4-6; Bieber&#8217;s &#8220;Intentions,&#8221; featuring Quavo, descends to No. 7 from its No. 5 high; SAINt JHN&#8217;s &#8220;Roses&#8221; retreats to No. 8 from its No. 7 peak; Lady Gaga and Grande&#8217;s &#8220;Rain on Me&#8221; rebounds 10-9, following its introduction at No. 1 three weeks ago; and Roddy Ricch&#8217;s former 11-week leader &#8220;The Box&#8221; backtracks 9-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.
