The album blasted in at No. 1 a week ago with 497,000 units &#8212; 2020\u2019s biggest week for any release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/dixie-chicks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Chicks<\/a>&nbsp;(formerly The Dixie Chicks) debut at No. 3 with their first studio album in 14 years,&nbsp;<em>Gaslighter<\/em>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/jhene-aiko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jhen\u00e9 Aiko<\/a>\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Chilombo<\/em>&nbsp;roars back into the top 10, surging 43-6, after it was reissued with additional tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on\u00a0multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new Aug. 1-dated chart (where\u00a0<em>Legends Never Die<\/em>\u00a0holds at No. 1) will be posted in full on\u00a0<em>Billboard<\/em>&#8216;s website on July 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At No. 2 on the Billboard 200,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/pop-smoke\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pop Smoke<\/a>\u2019s former No. 1&nbsp;<em>Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon<\/em>&nbsp;is a non-mover, earning 138,000 equivalent album units (up 26 percent). The album got a goose in its third week after it was reissued on July 20 (the late artist\u2019s birthday) with 15 additional tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chicks debut at No. 3 with the trio\u2019s first album since 2006,&nbsp;<em>Gaslighter<\/em>. The set launches with 84,000 equivalent album units earned, with 71,000 of that sum coming from album sales.&nbsp;<em>Gaslighter<\/em>&nbsp;is also the best-selling album of the week, and it bows at No. 1 on the Album Sales chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Gaslighter<\/em>\u00a0is The Chicks\u2019 fifth top 10 album on the Billboard 200, and also marks the group\u2019s first new studio album since 2006\u2019s\u00a0<em>Taking the Long Way<\/em>\u00a0(which debuted at No. 1). In addition to\u00a0<em>Gaslighter<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Taking the Long Way<\/em>, the band has visited the top 10 with\u00a0<em>Home<\/em>\u00a0(No. 1 in 2002),\u00a0<em>Fly<\/em>\u00a0(No. 1 in 1998) and\u00a0<em>Wide Open Spaces\u00a0<\/em>(No. 4 in 1999).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original Broadway cast recording of&nbsp;<em>Hamilton: An American Musical<\/em>&nbsp;slips from No. 3 to No. 4 on the new Billboard 200, tallying 78,000 equivalent album units (down 18 percent).&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/lil-baby\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lil Baby<\/a>\u2019s former No. 1&nbsp;<em>My Turn<\/em>&nbsp;falls from No. 4 to No. 5 with 57,000 units (down 2 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jhen\u00e9 Aiko\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Chilombo<\/em>&nbsp;surges back into the top 10, as it charges 43-6 with 50,000 equivalent album units earned (up 247 percent). The album\u2019s run back up the list is owed to its deluxe reissue on July 17, which added nine tracks.
