His new studio effort&nbsp;<em>El Ultimo Tour del Mundo<\/em>&nbsp;debuts atop the list, marking the first all-Spanish-language album to reach No. 1 in the 64-year history of the all-genre chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The album starts with 116,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Dec. 3, according to Nielsen Music\/MRC Data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The previous highest-charting all-Spanish-language album came earlier this year, when Bad Bunny\u2019s own&nbsp;<em>YHLQMDLG<\/em>&nbsp;debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the chart dated March 14 (179,000 units earned in its first week).ARTISTS MENTIONED<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also in the new top 10,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/miley-cyrus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miley Cyrus<\/a>\u2019&nbsp;<em>Plastic Hearts<\/em>&nbsp;debuts at No. 2, while&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/michael-buble\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/a>\u2019s former No. 1&nbsp;<em>Christmas<\/em>&nbsp;returns to the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on\u00a0multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid\/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new Dec. 12-dated chart (where\u00a0<em>El Ultimo Tour del Mundo<\/em>\u00a0debuts at to No. 1) will be posted in full on\u00a0<em>Billboard<\/em>&#8216;s website on Dec. 8. For all chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of&nbsp;<em>El Ultimo Tour del Mundo<\/em>\u2019s 116,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week ending Dec. 3, SEA units comprise 103,000 (equating to 145.94 million on-demand streams of the album\u2019s songs), album sales comprise 12,000 and TEA units comprise 1,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only four all-Spanish-language albums have ever reached the top five on the Billboard 200: Bad Bunny\u2019s&nbsp;<em>El Ultimo Tour del Mundo<\/em>&nbsp;(No. 1),&nbsp;<em>YHLQMDLG<\/em>&nbsp;(No. 2),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/mana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mana<\/a>\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Amar es Combatir<\/em>&nbsp;(No. 4; Sept. 9, 2006) and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/shakira\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shakira<\/a>\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Fijaci\u00f3n Oral: Vol. 1<\/em>&nbsp;(No. 4; June 25, 2005).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before&nbsp;<em>El Ultimo Tour del Mundo<\/em>&nbsp;became the first all-Spanish-language album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, there were only two&nbsp;mostly&nbsp;Spanish-sung albums reign:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/il-divo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Il Divo<\/a>\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Ancora&nbsp;<\/em>(Feb. 11, 2006) and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/selena\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Selena<\/a>\u2019s<em>&nbsp;Dreaming of You<\/em>&nbsp;(Aug. 5, 1995). Of&nbsp;<em>Ancora<\/em>\u2019s 10 songs, seven were performed in Spanish.&nbsp;<em>Dreaming of You<\/em>\u2019s 13-track album includes six tracks in Spanish, five in English and two duets that&nbsp;blend&nbsp;English and Spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All told, Bad Bunny has now achieved five charting albums on the Billboard 200, with his last four all reaching the top 10. His first charting set,\u00a0<em>X 100PRE<\/em>, peaked at No. 11 on the Jan. 12, 2019-dated chart, and he followed it with\u00a0<em>Oasis<\/em>\u00a0(with\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/j-balvin\" target=\"_blank\">J Balvin<\/a>, No. 9; July 13, 2019),\u00a0<em>YHLQMDLG<\/em>\u00a0(No. 2; March 14, 2020),\u00a0<em>Las Que No Iban a Salir<\/em>\u00a0(No. 7; May 23, 2020) and now\u00a0<em>El Ultimo Tour del Mundo<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, Bad Bunny is only the second act to have logged three new top 10 albums in 2020, following&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/youngboy-never-broke-again\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YoungBoy Never Broke Again<\/a>, who has claimed four top 10s this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>El Ultimo Tour del Mundo<\/em>&nbsp;was led by the track \u201cD\u00e1kiti,\u201d a co-billed song with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/jhay-cortez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jhay Cortez<\/a>. It marked Bad Bunny\u2019s third top 10 on the all-genre&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Billboard Hot 100<\/a>&nbsp;songs chart and his seventh No. 1 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/latin-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot Latin Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart. The song also reached No. 1 on both the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-global-200\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Billboard Global 200<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-global-excl-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Billboard Global Excl. U.S.<\/a>&nbsp;charts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back on the new Billboard 200, Miley Cyrus\u2019&nbsp;<em>Plastic Hearts<\/em>&nbsp;debuts at No. 2 \u2013 her highest charting effort since 2013\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Bangerz<\/em>&nbsp;bowed at No. 1. All told,&nbsp;<em>Plastic Hearts<\/em>&nbsp;is her 13th top 10 effort (including those albums credited under her&nbsp;<em>Hannah Montana<\/em>&nbsp;alias).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Plastic Hearts<\/em>&nbsp;launches with 60,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, 38,000 comprise SEA units (translating to 50.90 million on-demand streams of the album\u2019s songs), 20,000 comprise album sales and 2,000 comprise TEA units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Plastic Hearts<\/em>\u00a0was preceded by the songs \u201cMidnight Sky\u201d and \u201cPrisoner,\u201d the latter featuring Dua Lipa. \u201cMidnight Sky\u201d reached No. 14 on the Hot 100 dated Aug. 29 and No. 20 on the Streaming Songs chart. \u201cPrisoner\u201d debuted on the most-recently published Hot 100 and\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\" target=\"_blank\">Streaming Songs<\/a>\u00a0charts (dated Dec. 5) at Nos. 54 and 31, respectively. Aside from the collaboration with Dua Lipa, the album also features\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/billy-idol\" target=\"_blank\">Billy Idol<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/joan-jett\" target=\"_blank\">Joan Jett<\/a>. The digital edition of the album includes a guest spot by\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/stevie-nicks\" target=\"_blank\">Stevie Nicks<\/a>, who sings new vocals on &#8220;Edge of Midnight&#8221; &#8212; a remix\/mash-up of &#8220;Midnight Sky&#8221; and Nicks&#8217; own &#8220;Edge of Seventeen.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/bts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BTS<\/a>\u2019&nbsp;<em>Be<\/em>&nbsp;falls from No. 1 to No. 3 on the new Billboard 200 in its second week (55,000 equivalent album units earned; down 77%), Ariana Grande\u2019s former No. 1&nbsp;<em>Positions<\/em>&nbsp;dips 3-4 (53,000; down 14%) and Pop Smoke\u2019s previous leader&nbsp;<em>Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon<\/em>&nbsp;drops 4-5 (a little over 48,000; down 7%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael Bubl\u00e9\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Christmas<\/em>, which reached No. 1 in late 2011 and early 2012, returns to the top 10, as it climbs 13-6 with 48,000 equivalent album units earned (up 52%).
