It follows her smash &#8220;Drivers License,&#8221; which reigned for eight weeks beginning upon its&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9536569\/olivia-rodrigo-drivers-license-number-one-eighth-week-hot-100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">debut<\/a>&nbsp;in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both songs, as well as &#8220;Deja Vu,&#8221; which opened at its No. 8 Hot 100 high in April, are from Rodrigo&#8217;s debut album\u00a0<em>Sour<\/em>,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/pop\/9576209\/first-stream-olivia-rodrigo-bts-lil-nas-x\" target=\"_blank\">released Friday<\/a>\u00a0(May 21) and due on next week&#8217;s\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\" target=\"_blank\">Billboard 200<\/a>\u00a0chart. Notably, the set is the first debut album with two No. 1 Hot 100 debuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/j-cole\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">J. Cole<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;my.life,&#8221; with 21 Savage and Morray, launches at No. 2 on the Hot 100, marking J. Cole&#8217;s highest career rank, as he posts a record-tying four simultaneous top 10 debuts. All four tracks are from his album&nbsp;<em>The Off-Season<\/em>, which&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9576787\/j-cole-the-off-season-billboard-200-chart-number-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bounds in at No. 1<\/a>&nbsp;on this week&#8217;s Billboard 200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, the five songs debuting in the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10 mark a new weekly high in the chart&#8217;s history, besting the mark of four in a single frame previously accomplished three times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data. For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\" height=\"360\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gNi_6U5Pm_o\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Good 4 U,&#8221; released on Geffen\/Interscope Records, is the 1,124th No. 1 in the Hot 100&#8217;s 62-year archives, and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/photos\/426225\/billboard-hot-100-number-1-song-debuts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">53rd to enter on top<\/a>. Here&#8217;s a deeper dive into its dominant debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Streams, sales &amp; airplay:<\/strong>&nbsp;Following its May 14&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/pop\/9572621\/olivia-rodrigo-good-4-u-single\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">release<\/a>, &#8220;Good 4 U&#8221; drew 43.2 million U.S. streams and sold 12,000 downloads in the week ending May 20, according to MRC Data. It also attracted 3.8 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending May 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track debuts atop the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\" target=\"_blank\">Streaming Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart, where it&#8217;s Rodrigo&#8217;s second leader, after &#8220;Drivers License&#8221; ruled for four weeks, and starts at No. 5 on\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>. While it falls shy so far of the all-genre\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\" target=\"_blank\">Radio Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart, the track opens at No. 33 on the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/pop-songs\" target=\"_blank\">Pop Airplay<\/a>\u00a0survey, which measures plays on mainstream top 40 radio, where the song is being actively promoted (along with &#8220;Deja Vu&#8221;; &#8220;Drivers License&#8221; led Pop Airplay for five weeks, while &#8220;Deja Vu&#8221; this week hits a new No. 16 high).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Two No. 1s from a debut album:<\/strong>&nbsp;Both &#8220;Good 4 U&#8221; and &#8220;Drivers License&#8221; are from Rodrigo&#8217;s debut album&nbsp;<em>Sour<\/em>, released May 21. It&#8217;s the first debut studio set to spin off a pair of Hot 100 No. 1s since Macklemore &amp; Ryan Lewis&#8217; 2012 LP&nbsp;<em>The Heist<\/em>&nbsp;yielded &#8220;Thrift Shop,&#8221; featuring Wanz, and &#8220;Can&#8217;t Hold Us,&#8221; featuring Ray Dalton, in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among women,&nbsp;<em>Sour<\/em>&nbsp;is the first debut album to generate two Hot 100 No. 1s since Lady Gaga (Rodrigo&#8217;s Interscope labelmate) arrived with 2008&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>The Fame<\/em>, which produced the leaders &#8220;Just Dance,&#8221; featuring Colby O&#8217;Donis, and &#8220;Poker Face&#8221; (as well as the top 10s &#8220;LoveGame&#8221; and &#8220;Paparazzi&#8221;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As&nbsp;<em>Sour<\/em>&nbsp;has yet to debut on the Billboard 200, where it will enter on next week&#8217;s, June 5-dated chart, it&#8217;s the first album with two Hot 100 No. 1s before its Billboard 200 debut since Drake&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>Scorpion<\/em>, which bowed atop the July 14, 2018, chart after its tracks &#8220;God&#8217;s Plan&#8221; and &#8220;Nice for What&#8221; had already led the Hot 100. (<em>Scorpion<\/em>&#8216;s third No. 1, &#8220;In My Feelings,&#8221; topped the Hot 100 beginning the week after the set started on the Billboard 200.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, in the digital era (since the advent of downloads and streaming), in which multiple songs are regularly released before their parent albums,\u00a0<em>Sour<\/em>\u00a0is the first debut album by any act to generate two Hot 100 No. 1s before the set&#8217;s Billboard 200 entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Albums with two songs to debut at No. 1:<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>&nbsp;awards editor and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9547587\/chart-beat-40th-anniversary-paul-grein-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chart Beat founder<\/a>&nbsp;Paul Grein notes that Rodrigo&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>Sour<\/em>&nbsp;makes history as the first debut album to include two songs that have entered the Hot 100 at No. 1, thanks to &#8220;Drivers License&#8221; and now &#8220;Good 4 U.&#8221; The only previous albums to house two tracks that each premiered on top were by then-well-established stars: Mariah Carey&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>Daydream<\/em>&nbsp;(&#8220;Fantasy&#8221; and &#8220;One Sweet Day,&#8221; with Boyz II Men, in 1995-96); Drake&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>Scorpion<\/em>&nbsp;(&#8220;God&#8217;s Plan&#8221; and &#8220;Nice for What,&#8221; 2018); and Grande&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>Thank U, Next<\/em>&nbsp;(&#8220;Thank U, Next&#8221; and &#8220;7 Rings,&#8221; 2018-19). Those were, in each case, those artists&#8217; fifth proper LPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\" height=\"360\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fJZZ_TcFGo4\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>J. Cole&#8217;s &#8220;my.life,&#8221; with 21 Savage and Morray, vaults in at No. 2 on the Hot 100, with 41.1 million streams, 1.3 million in airplay audience and 2,800 sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J. Cole achieves his highest Hot 100 rank, besting the No. 4 peak of &#8220;Middle Child&#8221; in February 2019. He ups his count to 10 career top 10s, as he also debuts with &#8220;amari&#8221; at No. 5, led by its 37.8 million streams; &#8220;pride.is.the.devil,&#8221; with Lil Baby, at No. 7 (35.1 million); and &#8220;95.south&#8221; at No. 8 (34 million). J. Cole&#8217;s four new Hot 100 top 10s are all from his new Billboard 200\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9576787\/j-cole-the-off-season-billboard-200-chart-number-one\/\" target=\"_blank\">No. 1<\/a>\u00a0<em>The Off-Season<\/em>. The set joins the ranks of albums with at least\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/photos\/6738611\/albums-five-top-10-hot-100-hits\" target=\"_blank\">five Hot 100 top 10s<\/a>\u00a0each as, a week earlier, the release&#8217;s &#8220;Interlude&#8221;\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9574863\/silks-sonic-leave-the-door-open-number-one-second-week-hot-100\/\" target=\"_blank\">debuted<\/a>\u00a0at No. 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J. Cole is the fourth artist to tally a record-tying four simultaneous top 10 debuts, following Drake (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8464454\/drake-hot-100-record-nice-for-what-scorpion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">July 14, 2018<\/a>), Lil Wayne (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8478688\/lil-wayne-carter-v-hot-100-debuts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oct. 13, 2018<\/a>) and Juice WRLD (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/business\/chart-beat\/9421232\/juice-wrld-five-songs-top-ten-hot-100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">July 25, 2020<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, with &#8220;my.life,&#8221; 21 Savage scores his fourth Hot 100 top 10 and Morray earns his first. Thanks to &#8220;pride.is.the.devil,&#8221; Lil Baby logs his seventh top 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;my.life&#8221; opens at No. 1 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>, both of which use the same methodology as the Hot 100. It&#8217;s the first No. 1 on each genre chart for J. Cole and Morray and the second on each list for 21 Savage, following his featured turn on Post Malone&#8217;s &#8220;Rockstar&#8221; in 2017-18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back on the Hot 100, Rodrigo&#8217;s No. 1 debut with &#8220;Good 4 U&#8221; and J. Cole&#8217;s quartet of new top 10s make for a new weekly-record five concurrent top 10 debuts. Previously, as many as four songs entered in the top 10 together three times, in the frames noted above by Drake, Lil Wayne and Juice WRLD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elsewhere in the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10, Dua Lipa&#8217;s &#8220;Levitating,&#8221; featuring DaBaby, dips to No. 3 from its No. 2 high and &#8220;Leave the Door Open&#8221; by Silk Sonic, the duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, falls to No. 4 a week after adding its&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9574863\/silks-sonic-leave-the-door-open-number-one-second-week-hot-100\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">second week<\/a>&nbsp;at No. 1.
