The song, the group&#8217;s first Hot 100 top 10, reaches the region in its 42nd week on the chart, completing the longest trip to the tier in the list&#8217;s 63-year history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data. For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/U3ASj1L6_sY\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Easy on Me,&#8221;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/pop\/9645426\/adele-easy-on-me-video-song\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released<\/a>&nbsp;Oct. 14 on Columbia Records, drew 70 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 12%) and 25.8 million U.S. streams (down 19%) and sold 15,800 downloads (down 32%) in the Oct. 29-Nov. 4 tracking week, according to MRC Data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ballad leads the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\" target=\"_blank\">Streaming Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart for a third week; rebounds 3-2 after a week atop\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>; and advances 4-2 on\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\" target=\"_blank\">Radio Songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among individual radio formats (and reflecting airplay in the week ending Nov. 7), &#8220;Easy on Me&#8221; hits No. 1 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/adult-contemporary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adult Contemporary<\/a>, becoming Adele&#8217;s sixth leader on the list. It reaches the top spot in just its fourth week, completing the quickest coronation for a non-holiday song since her own &#8220;Hello&#8221; also needed just four weeks to reign in November 2015. (Only one non-holiday track has led AC more quickly since MRC Data information began fueling the chart in July 1993: Bob Carlisle&#8217;s Father&#8217;s Day\/wedding song classic &#8220;Butterfly Kisses,&#8221; in just its third week in May 1997.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Easy on Me&#8221; also rises 5-3 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/adult-pop-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adult Pop Airplay<\/a>; holds at its No. 4 high on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/triple-a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adult Alternative Airplay<\/a>; and lifts 9-8 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/pop-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pop Airplay<\/a>, 17-11 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-dance-airplay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dance\/Mix Show Airplay<\/a>&nbsp;(helped by remix spins) and 13-12 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-adult-r-and-b-airplay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adult R&amp;B Airplay<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kid LAROI and Bieber&#8217;s &#8220;Stay&#8221; holds at No. 2 on the Hot 100, after seven weeks at No. 1, as it tops Radio Songs for an eighth week (89.5 million, down 3%). &#8220;Stay&#8221; concurrently leads Pop Airplay for an 11th week, tying for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/business\/chart-beat\/9654562\/the-kid-laroi-justin-bieber-stay-pop-airplay-chart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">second-longest reign<\/a>&nbsp;since the chart began in October 1992.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow&#8217;s &#8220;Industry Baby&#8221; keeps at No. 3 on the Hot 100, two weeks after it\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9646699\/hot-100-10-23-21-chart-recap-top-10\/\" target=\"_blank\">led the listing<\/a>. It adds an 11th week atop both the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\" target=\"_blank\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\" target=\"_blank\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>\u00a0charts, which use the same multi-metric methodology as the Hot 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ed Sheeran&#8217;s &#8220;Bad Habits&#8221; rises 5-4 on the Hot 100, after hitting No. 2, and his &#8220;Shivers&#8221; pushes 7-6 for a new high. Both songs are from his new album&nbsp;<em>=<\/em>, which launches as his&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/9656431\/ed-sheeran-fourth-number-one-album-equals-billboard-200\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fourth No. 1<\/a>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Billboard 200<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In between Sheeran&#8217;s two songs, Walker Hayes&#8217; &#8220;Fancy Like&#8221; dips 4-5 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 3. It topped&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/alternative-airplay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alternative Airplay<\/a>&nbsp;for three weeks in March-April and, after reaching the top 20 on both Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay in June, continues to scale the formats, as it re-enters the latest charts at new highs of Nos. 15 and 18, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further reflecting the era in which it&#8217;s become a hit, &#8220;Heat Waves&#8221; surged on TikTok, playing off the song&#8217;s &#8220;all I think about is you&#8221; lyrical hook. It trended especially strongly in late summer, including via a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@glassanimalsofficial\/video\/7002747764551486725?lang=en&amp;is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clip<\/a>&nbsp;from the band itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track concurrently tops the multi-metric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot Rock &amp; Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-alternative-songs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hot Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;charts for a seventh week each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glass Animals formed in 2010 in Oxford, England. &#8220;Heat Waves,&#8221; which frontman Dave Bayley solely wrote and produced, is from the group&#8217;s third studio album,&nbsp;<em>Dreamland<\/em>, which became its first&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-albums\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Top Rock Albums<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/business\/chart-beat\/9438376\/glass-animals-top-rock-albums-no-1-dreamland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">No. 1<\/a>&nbsp;upon its debut in August 2020.
