Previously, Lifehouse\u2019s \u201cHanging by a Moment\u201d took the longest to cross from hitting No. 1 on Alternative Airplay to leading Radio Songs: five months and two weeks, in January to July 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>British groups at No. 1:<\/strong>&nbsp;Glass Animals\u2019 \u201cHeat Waves\u201d is the first song by a British group to have topped the Hot 100 for multiple weeks in just over 25 years: since Spice Girls\u2019 \u201cWannabe\u201d led for four weeks beginning Feb. 22, 1997. (In between, the only other British group to reign \u2013 Coldplay \u2013 notched two No. 1s that led for a week each: \u201cViva La Vida,\u201d in June 2008, and \u201cMy Universe,\u201d with BTS, in October 2021.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among all British acts prior to Glass Animals, Adele most recently dominated for 10 weeks beginning in October with \u201cEasy on Me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zero to 60:<\/strong>&nbsp;Meanwhile, \u201cHeat Waves\u201d becomes just the 20th title to have spent 60 or more weeks on the Hot 100 (among around 30,000 total entries since the chart originated in August 1958).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s the seventh No. 1 to chart for 60 or more weeks, joining The Weeknd\u2019s \u201cBlinding Lights\u201d (an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/the-weeknd-blinding-lights-all-time-hot-100-1235001770\/\">overall-record 90<\/a>); LMFAO\u2019s \u201cParty Rock Anthem,\u201d featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock (68); Adele\u2019s \u201cRolling in the Deep\u201d (65); The Weeknd and Ariana Grande\u2019s \u201cSave Your Tears\u201d (62; still charting); Post Malone\u2019s \u201cCircles\u201d (61); and Los Del Rio\u2019s \u201cMacarena (Bayside Boys Mix)\u201d (60).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No. 1 Rock, Alt:<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cHeat Waves\u201d concurrently leads the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\">Hot Rock &amp; Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-alternative-songs\">Hot Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;charts, both of which use the same multi-metric methodology as the Hot 100, for a 25th week each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk About Bruno,\u201d from\u00a0<em>Encanto<\/em>, holds at No. 2 on the Hot 100 after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/we-dont-talk-about-bruno-encanto-hot-100-fifth-week-number-one-1235037107\/\">five weeks<\/a>\u00a0at No. 1, the longest reign ever for a song from a Disney film.
