It&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/harry-styles-as-it-was-number-one-billboard-hot-100-debut-1235057698\/\">soared in at the summit<\/a>&nbsp;seven weeks earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track is the lead single from Styles\u2019 new album&nbsp;<em>Harry\u2019s House<\/em>. Among all British acts, he joins only The Beatles, who achieved the feat for five weeks in 1964, including two frames in which they logged five each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/lizzo\/\">Lizzo<\/a>\u2018s \u201cAbout Damn Time\u201d hits the Hot 100\u2019s top five, climbing 9-5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data. The song scores its highest weekly radio reach and its second-best streaming sum, following its debut (43.8 million; April 16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track spends a third week at No. 1 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\/\">Radio Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart and surges 10-1 for a second week atop&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\">Streaming Songs<\/a>, after it debuted at the summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs It Was\u201d is joined in the Hot 100\u2019s top 10 by three debuts also from&nbsp;<em>Harry\u2019s House<\/em>: \u201cLate Night Talking\u201d (No. 4), \u201cMusic for a Sushi Restaurant\u201d (No. 8) and \u201cMatilda\u201d (No. 9). Cole, Post Malone, Lil Wayne, T-Pain and 50 Cent (highs of four each).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, after a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/no-2022-hits-harry-styles-1235057576\/\">sluggish start for new music<\/a>&nbsp;this year \u2013 as only two of the 26 songs to appear in the Hot 100\u2019s top 10 between January and the April 9 chart were released in 2022 \u2013 a hefty 20 top 10s released this year have reached the region in the eight weeks since, by Styles, Jack Harlow, Morgan Wallen, Future, Lizzo, Bad Bunny and Lamar. The latest list marks the fourth in a row on which an artist has logged four top 10s from a new album, as Styles follows Lamar (May 28), Bad Bunny (May 21) and Future (May 14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harlow\u2019s \u201cFirst Class\u201d descends to No. 2 on the Hot 100, after three nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1; it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/jack-harlow-first-class-number-one-debut-billboard-hot-100-1235060319\/\">flew in atop<\/a>&nbsp;the April 23 tally. The song wins the Hot 100\u2019s top Airplay Gainer award for a sixth straight week (tying Imagine Dragons and JID\u2019s \u201cEnemy,\u201d in February-April, for the best such streak this year), as it pushes 3-2 on Radio Songs, up 14% to 68 million in audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFirst Class\u201d concurrently claims a sixth week atop both the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\/\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>&nbsp;charts, which use the same multi-metric methodology as the Hot 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Future\u2019s \u201cWait for U,\u201d featuring Drake and Tems, rebounds 4-3 on the Hot 100, three weeks after it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/future-drake-tems-wait-for-u-hot-100-chart-debut-1235068559\/\">debuted at No. 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"post-video\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lizzo - About Damn Time [Official Video]\" width=\"1165\" height=\"655\" src=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/embed\/IXXxciRUMzE?wmode=transparent&#038;fs=1\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lizzo\u2019s \u201cAbout Damn Time\u201d reaches the Hot 100\u2019s top five, leaping 9-5, fueled by its 25% gain to 35.3 million in radio audience. Lizzo adds her third leader on the chart, after \u201cTruth Hurts\u201d (for five weeks in 2019) and \u201cGood as Hell\u201d (one, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTime\u201d concurrently returns for a second week atop the multi-metric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-and-b-songs\/\">Hot R&amp;B Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glass Animals\u2019 \u201cHeat Waves\u201d rebounds 12-6 on the Hot 100, after five weeks at No. 1, as it rules the multi-metric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\">Hot Rock &amp; Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-alternative-songs\">Hot Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;charts for a 36th week each, and Latto\u2019s \u201cBig Energy\u201d bumps 10-7 on the Hot 100, after hitting No. 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elsewhere in the Hot 100\u2019s top 10, Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone\u2019s \u201cMe Porto Bonito\u201d rises 14-10, revisiting its highpoint first reached in its debut frame two weeks earlier.
