It&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/harry-styles-as-it-was-number-one-billboard-hot-100-debut-1235057698\/\">launched at No. 1<\/a>&nbsp;in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concurrently,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/kate-bush\/\">Kate Bush<\/a>\u2018s 1985 classic \u201cRunning Up That Hill (A Deal With God)\u201d surges to No. 4 on the Hot 100, a week after it re-entered at No. 8 \u2013 far surpassing its prior No. 30 peak and becoming Bush\u2019s first top 10 on the chart \u2013 sparked by its sync in the new fourth season of Netflix\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Stranger Things<\/em>. The fourth season of the \u201980s-set show, which premiered May 27, incorporates the song in multiple episodes, serving as a recurring theme for the character of Max Mayfield, played by Sadie Sink. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/culture\/tv-film\/stranger-things-season-four-kate-bush-running-up-that-hill-music-supervisor-interview-1235082986\/\">Bush is a fan<\/a>&nbsp;of the series, and, in a rare move for her music, approved the song\u2019s usage in it.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHill\u201d drew 29 million streams (up 65%) and 2.4 million airplay impressions among Radio Songs reporters (up 519%) and sold 22,200 downloads (up 21%) in the June 3-9 tracking week. It spends a second week at No. 1 on Digital Song Sales and rises to No. 1 on Streaming Songs, marking Bush\u2019s first leader on each list, while winning top Sales and Streaming Gainer honors on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, \u201cHill\u201d wraps the longest run to the Hot 100\u2019s top five in terms of years from a debut on the chart to the top five \u2013 36 years, nine months and two weeks \u2013 for a non-holiday hit in the list\u2019s 63-year history, and the third-longest such rise overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Longest Climbs to the Hot 100\u2019s Top Five (from debut date):<br>61 years, two weeks: \u201cJingle Bell Rock,\u201d Bobby Helms, Dec. 22, 1958-Jan. 4, 2020<br>59 years, one week: \u201cRockin\u2019 Around the Christmas Tree,\u201d Brenda Lee, Dec. 12, 1960-Dec. 21, 2019<br>36 years, nine months, two weeks: \u201cRunning Up That Hill (A Deal With God),\u201d Kate Bush, Sept. 7, 1985-June 18, 2022<br>19 years: \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You,\u201d Mariah Carey, Jan. 8, 2000-Jan. 5, 2019<br>16 years, three months, two weeks: \u201cBohemian Rhapsody,\u201d Queen, Jan. 3, 1976-April 18, 1992<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three of the songs above are holiday tracks, spurred in recent years by the growth of streaming, while Queen\u2019s classic, like Bush\u2019s,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/10-times-movies-tv-shows-sent-decades-old-songs-back-onto-the-hot-100-kate-bush-queen-more-1235083441\/\">benefited from its own sync<\/a>, in the 1992 box office hit\u00a0<em>Wayne\u2019s World<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHill\u201d is Bush\u2019s first top five Hot 100 hit \u2013 having outperformed her prior No. 30 career high during the song\u2019s original run. It was first released on her 1985 album&nbsp;<em>Hounds of Love<\/em>, which soars 28-12 as the Greatest Gainer on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\/\">Billboard 200<\/a>&nbsp;albums chart (27,000 equivalent album units, up 59%), likewise granting Bush a new personal best on the survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, as Bush&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/kate-bush-hot-100-sole-writer-producer-performer-hits-1235083731\/\">solely wrote, produced and performs<\/a>&nbsp;\u201cHill,\u201d the song is the first top five Hot 100 hit by a solo singer, writer and producer and no accompanying credited talents since Hozier\u2019s \u201cTake Me to Church,\u201d which hit No. 2 in December 2014.
