The song becomes the rapper\u2019s third leader on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus, two holiday classics return to the Hot 100\u2019s top 10:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/mariah-carey\/\">Mariah Carey<\/a>\u2019s \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You,\u201d up 17-4, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/brenda-lee\/\">Brenda Lee<\/a>\u2019s \u201cRockin\u2019 Around the Christmas Tree,\u201d which re-enters at No. 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also in the Hot 100\u2019s top 10,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/tyla\/\">Tyla<\/a>\u00a0makes her first visit to the tier with her breakout hit \u201cWater,\u201d which jumps 15-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. It drew 23.6 million streams (up 6%) and 20.8 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 71%) and sold 11,000 downloads (down 10%) in the Nov. 17-23 tracking week, according to Luminate. (The song entered a week earlier at No. 2, with 22.2 million streams, 12.2 million in radio audience and 12,000 sold, following its&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/jack-harlow-lovin-on-me-single-listen-1235467977\/\">Nov. 10 release<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The single scores a second week at No. 1 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\">Streaming Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart; holds at its No. 2 high on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\/\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>; and debuts at No. 32 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\/\">Radio Songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harlow achieves his third Hot 100 leader, following \u201cFirst Class\u201d (No. 1 for three weeks in April-May 2022) and \u201cIndustry Baby,\u201d with Lil Nas X (No. 1, one week, October 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, Harlow is one of just three artists to tally at least one new Hot 100 No. 1 in each of the last three years, joining Drake and Taylor Swift (whose streaks both date to 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLovin on Me\u201d is currently a standalone single from Harlow, whose most recent album,&nbsp;<em>Jackman.<\/em>, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 in May, becoming his third top 10 set. The song\u2019s hook&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/jack-harlow-lovin-on-me-release-date-1235468013\/\">samples<\/a>&nbsp;singer Delbert \u201cDale\u201d Greer\u2019s 1995 cut \u201cWhatever\u201d (which to date has never hit a&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>&nbsp;chart).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cCruel Summer\u201d falls to No. 2 on the Hot 100 following four nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1. It rules Radio Songs for a sixth week (68.8 million, down 7%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doja Cat\u2019s \u201cPaint the Town Red\u201d holds at No. 3 on the Hot 100, after it led for three nonconsecutive weeks beginning in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yXQViqx6GMY?si=knbVvWnbSWip1a9-\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Mariah Carey\u2019s \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d \u2013 the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/mariah-carey-charlie-brown-greatest-of-all-time-holiday-charts-1234999010\/\">No. 1 hit<\/a>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/greatest-of-all-time-holiday-100-songs\/\">Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs<\/a>&nbsp;retrospective \u2013 dashes 17-4 on the Hot 100, with 22 million streams (up 57%), 15.6 million airplay audience impressions (up 105%) and 3,000 sold (up 70%) Nov. 17-23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carey\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/awards\/mariah-carey-bbmas-all-i-want-for-christmas-is-you-1235473330\/\">performed \u201cChristmas\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on an awards show for the first time as part of the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (Nov. 19). She was also honored with the Billboard Chart Achievement Award for the song, presented to her by her 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The song, originally released in 1994, hit the Hot 100\u2019s top 10 for the first time in December 2017. In December 2019, it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/mariah-carey-all-i-want-for-christmas-is-you-number-one\/\">ascended to the summit<\/a>&nbsp;at last, for three weeks that holiday season. It became the second holiday song ever to reign, after \u201cThe Chipmunk Song,\u201d by The Chipmunks with David Seville, spent four weeks at No. 1 beginning in December 1958.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChristmas\u201d led the Hot 100 for two more weeks in the 2020 holiday season, thus, passing \u201cThe Chipmunk Song\u201d for the most for a Yuletide song. It added three more weeks at No. 1 over the 2021 holidays and a single-season-best four frames during the 2022 season, upping its total to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/mariah-carey-all-i-want-for-christmas-is-you-12-weeks-number-one-nat-king-cole-top-10-1235192947\/\">12 weeks at No. 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its 2019 coronation, Carey claimed her 19th Hot 100 No. 1, extending her mark for the most among soloists and moving to within one of The Beatles\u2019 overall record 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChristmas\u201d concurrently crowns the multi-metric&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-holiday-songs\">Holiday 100<\/a>&nbsp;chart, which returns for the season this week, for a 58th week, of the list\u2019s 63 total frames since the chart began in 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SZA\u2019s \u201cSnooze\u201d slips 4-5 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 2, as it leads the multi-metric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-and-b-songs\/\">Hot R&amp;B Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart for a 17th week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zach Bryan\u2019s \u201cI Remember Everything,\u201d featuring Kacey Musgraves, keeps at No. 6 on the Hot 100, after it led for a week upon its debut in September, as it tops the multi-metric\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\/\">Hot Rock &amp; Alternative Songs<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-rock-songs\/\">Hot Rock Songs<\/a>\u00a0charts for a 13th week each and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/country-songs\/\">Hot Country Songs<\/a>\u00a0for a ninth frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tate McRae\u2019s \u201cGreedy\u201d rises 8-7 on the Hot 100, a week after it became her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/tate-mcrae-greedy-top-10-chart-success-1235503836\/\">first top 10<\/a>. During the tracking week, McRae performed for the first time on both NBC\u2019s\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/music-news\/tate-mcrae-snl-greedy-grave-musical-guest-performance-videos-1235492067\/\">Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(Nov. 18) and the 2023\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/awards\/tate-mcrae-greedy-2023-billboard-music-awards-performance-1235494813\/\">Billboard Music Awards<\/a>\u00a0(Nov. 19).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TFsZy9t-qDc?si=oK0ZWQt4AWA1uXzE\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Brenda Lee dances merrily back onto the Hot 100 at No. 8 with \u201cRockin\u2019 Around the Christmas Tree,\u201d which re-enters with 22 million official streams (up 57%), 15.4 million in airplay audience (up 83%) and 2,000 sold (up 308%). It has spent nine weeks at its No. 2 high since it first reached the rank in December 2019; it was originally released in 1958 and hit a prior No. 14 peak in 1960.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For its 65th anniversary, the song received its first official video (featuring cameos from Tanya Tucker and Trisha Yearwood) Nov. 3. Plus, Lee is set to perform it on NBC\u2019s\u00a0<em>Christmas at the Opry<\/em>, airing Dec. 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the carol\u2019s latest week in the Hot 100\u2019s top 10, Lee claims the record for the longest span of an act appearing in the tier to 63 years, eight months and two weeks, dating to her first week in the top 10 with \u201cSweet Nothin\u2019s\u201d in March 1960. (She passes the late Andy Williams, with a span of nearly 63 years and three months from his first week in the top 10 with \u201cLonely Street\u201d in October 1959 through the most week in the region for his \u201cIt\u2019s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year\u201d last holiday season; the latter re-enters the chart at No. 28, so the record is in line to revert to Williams, should the song return to the top 10.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swift\u2019s \u201cIs It Over Now? (Taylor\u2019s Version) [From the Vault]\u201d slides 5-9 on the Hot 100, three weeks after it debuted as her 11th No. 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XoiOOiuH8iI?si=n_h8fRm6miwT71lO\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Rounding out the Hot 100\u2019s top 10, Tyla earns her first visit to the region with her first entry on the chart, \u201cWater,\u201d which rises 15-10. The song drew 38.4 million in airplay audience (up 24%) and 14.4 million streams (up 49%) and sold 2,000 (up 19%) Nov. 17-23, helped by two remixes, with Marshmello and Travis Scott, respectively,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/music-news\/tyla-water-remixes-travis-scott-marshmello-1235487589\/\">released Nov. 17<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWater\u201d concurrently tops the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-u-s-afrobeats-songs\/\">Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart for a seventh week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis hasn\u2019t happened in so long for a South African artist, born and raised in South Africa, with an African song, with an African dance style,\u201d Tyla recently&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/music-news\/tyla-water-rb-hip-hop-rookie-of-the-month-october-1235449715\/\">told&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em><\/a>. (The song has also received a 2024&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/awards\/grammy-nominations-2024-list-1235468152\/\">Grammy nomination<\/a>&nbsp;in the new best African music performance category.) \u201cEverything is so authentic, and the fact that all of that managed to translate overseas is crazy. I always wanted to be the biggest pop star in general. I didn\u2019t want to be the biggest African pop star. I just want to be the biggest pop star that was born and raised in Africa.
