The rapper ties his longest reign on the chart, among his three leaders, after \u201cFirst Class\u201d ruled for three weeks in April-May 2022. He has also topped the chart with \u201cIndustry Baby,\u201d with Lil Nas X, for one week in October 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus, singer-songwriter\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/teddy-swims\/\">Teddy Swims<\/a>\u00a0tallies his first Hot 100 top 10, as \u201cLose Control\u201d ascends to No. 8, from No. 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. All charts (dated Jan. 20, 2024) will update on\u00a0Billboard.com\u00a0tomorrow, Jan. 17 (a day later than usual due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday Jan. 15). For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harlow\u2019s \u201cLovin on Me,\u201d released on Generation Now\/Atlantic Records, drew 58 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 11%, as it wins the Hot 100\u2019s Greatest Gainer award) and 27.9 million streams (down 4%) and sold 8,000 downloads (down 11%) in the Jan. 5-11 tracking week, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The single notches a fourth week atop the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\">Streaming Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart; jumps 5-2 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\/\">Radio Songs<\/a>; and dips to No. 2 after two frames atop&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\/\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLovin on Me\u201d concurrently leads the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\/\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\/\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>&nbsp;charts, which use the same methodology as the Hot 100, for a ninth week each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLovin on Me\u201d is currently a standalone single from Harlow, whose most recent album,\u00a0<em>Jackman.<\/em>, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 in May, becoming his third top 10 set. (The song\u2019s hook\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/jack-harlow-lovin-on-me-release-date-1235468013\/\">samples<\/a>\u00a0singer Delbert \u201cDale\u201d Greer\u2019s 1995 track \u201cWhatever.\u201d)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Iq8h3GEe22o?si=1SoWAOjNd1Cfd-QX\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cCruel Summer\u201d keeps at No. 2 on the Hot 100 following four nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 beginning in October. It rules Radio Songs for a 12th week (69.4 million, down 4%), extending her personal-best command on the ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tate McRae\u2019s first Hot 100 top 10, \u201cGreedy,\u201d holds at its No. 3 best and Zach Bryan\u2019s \u201cI Remember Everything,\u201d featuring Kacey Musgraves, rises 5-4, after it dominated for a week upon its debut in September, as it rules the multimetric\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\/\">Hot Rock &amp; Alternative Songs<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-rock-songs\/\">Hot Rock Songs<\/a>\u00a0charts for a 20th week each and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/country-songs\/\">Hot Country Songs<\/a>\u00a0for a 16th week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doja Cat\u2019s \u201cPaint the Town Red\u201d descends 4-5 on the Hot 100, after it led for three nonconsecutive weeks beginning in September, and SZA\u2019s \u201cSnooze\u201d stays at No. 6, after reaching No. 2, as it leads the multi-metric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-and-b-songs\/\">Hot R&amp;B Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart for a 24th week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyla\u2019s initial Hot 100 top 10, \u201cWater,\u201d is steady at its No. 7 high. It concurrently crowns the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-u-s-afrobeats-songs\/\">Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart for a 14th week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GZ3zL7kT6_c?si=hhyVrZ3N0L9nPrN4\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Teddy Swims achieves his first Hot 100 top 10, as \u201cLose Control\u201d lifts 12-8. The song drew 24.5 million in radio audience (up 6%) Jan. 5-11, as it ranks at No. 2 on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart and in the top 20 on Adult Pop Airplay, Adult Contemporary and Pop Airplay. It also tallied 16.3 million streams (up 12%) and sold 6,000 (down 7%) in the tracking week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teddy Swims (real name Jaten Dimsdale), from Conyers, Ga., first appeared on&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>\u2019s charts in 2021, after he broke through with a viral cover of Michael Jackson\u2019s \u201cRock With You\u201d in June 2019. (He signed to Warner Records on Christmas Eve 2019.) As a co-writer, he topped the Country Airplay chart via Thomas Rhett\u2019s \u201cAngels Don\u2019t Always Have Wings\u201d for a week last September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teddy Swims scores his first Hot 100 top 10 as a writer, as well as a recording artist. He co-penned \u201cLose Control\u201d with Ammo, Julian Bunetta, Infamous and Mikky Ekko, who up their top 10 totals as writers to seven, five, two and two, respectively. (Mikky Ekko first hit the top 10 as a writer and recording artist, as featured on Rihanna\u2019s \u201cStay,\u201d which rose to No. 3 in 2013.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen it was finished, I was showing everybody before the song came out,\u201d Teddy Swims\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/features\/teddy-swims-lose-control-interview-october-2023-chartbreaker-1235430772\/\">told\u00a0<em>Billboard<\/em><\/a>\u00a0of \u201cLose Control\u201d last year. \u201cI just felt that energy, like, \u2018this is lighting in a bottle.\u2019 I knew this was going to change my life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(You \u201cSnooze,\u201d you \u201cLose\u201d: the words \u201csnooze\u201d and \u201close\u201d appear in song titles in the Hot 100\u2019s top 10 simultaneously for the first time, thanks to SZA and Teddy Swims\u2019 winning hits. Meanwhile, the latter is the second top 10 titled \u201cLose Control\u201d; Missy Elliott\u2019s, featuring Ciara and Fat Man Scoop, hit No. 3 in September 2005.
