The charity single became the first title by a non-solo act to debut at No. 1 on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/country-songs\">Hot Country Songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9WbCfHutDSE\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>3<\/strong> \u2013 When the title cut from her third studio set <em>Dangerous Woman<\/em> launched at No. 10 on the Hot 100 in April, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/1484343\/ariana-grande\/chart\">Ariana Grande<\/a> became the first artist in the chart&#8217;s 58-year history to debut in the top 10 with the lead single from each of her first three albums. &#8220;The Way&#8221; (featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/276901\/mac-miller\/chart\">Mac Miller<\/a>) and &#8220;Problem&#8221; (featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/5694588\/iggy-azalea\/chart\">Iggy Azalea<\/a>) each previously launched in the region, ushering in 2013&#8217;s <em>Yours Truly<\/em> and 2014&#8217;s <em>My Everything<\/em>, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>1<\/strong> \u2013 From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/314021\/one-direction\/chart\">One Direction<\/a> to an historic No. 1 on his own, Zayn, born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, became the only male U.K. soloist to debut at No. 1 on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\">Billboard 200<\/a> with a first album, when <em>Mind of Mine<\/em> started atop the April 16 list.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>4<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/1540414\/taylor-momsen\/chart\">Taylor <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/1540414\/taylor-momsen\/chart\">Momsen<\/a>-led quartet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/418882\/pretty-reckless\/chart\">The Pretty Reckless<\/a> became the first act to send its first four entries to No. 1 on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/year-end\/mainstream-rock-songs\">Mainstream Rock Songs<\/a> airplay chart (which began in 1981), when &#8220;Take Me Down&#8221; rose 2-1 in November.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xFutjZEBTXs\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>27<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/301773\/enrique-iglesias\/chart\">Enrique Iglesias<\/a>&#8216; record total of No. 1s on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/latin-songs\">Hot Latin Songs<\/a>. He padded his mark with &#8220;Duele El Corazon&#8221; (featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/431484\/wisin\/chart\">Wisin<\/a>), which led for 14 weeks beginning in May.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>5<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/308556\/luke-bryan\/chart\">Luke Bryan<\/a> became the first artist to bank five No. 1s from two albums apiece on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/country-airplay\">Country Airplay<\/a> thanks to &#8220;Move,&#8221; the fifth leader from <em>Kill the Lights<\/em>.
