Cole<\/a>\u2019s \u201c7 Minute Drill\u201d debuts at No. 6 on the Hot 100. On the track, from J. Cole\u2019s new album\u00a0<em>Might Delete Later<\/em>, he appears to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/j-cole-kendrick-lamar-diss-7-minute-drill-might-delete-later-1235649636\/\">respond<\/a>\u00a0to Lamar\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/kendrick-lamar-like-that-diss-drake-j-cole-1235639356\/\">apparent disses<\/a>\u00a0directed at himself and Drake\u00a0in \u201cLike That.\u201d The song bows as J. Cole\u2019s 13th top 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLike That,\u201d on Boominati\/Freebandz\/Republic\/Epic Records, drew 40 million streams (down 13%) and 14 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 39%) and sold 3,000 (down 56%) April 5-11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The single adds a third week at No. 1 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\">Streaming Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart; drops 8-14 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\/\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>; and debuts at No. 41 on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\/\">Radio Songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, \u201cLike That\u201d is the first song to clear 40 million in streams in its first three weeks, after it registered 46.1 million the week before and 59.6 million in its debut week, since Miley Cyrus\u2019 \u201cFlowers\u201d began with 52.6 million, 59.7 million and 48 million consecutively in January-February 2023. Among hip-hop hits (defined as those that have appeared on&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\/\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart), \u201cLike That\u201d is the first to achieve the feat since Cardi B\u2019s \u201cWAP,\u201d featuring Megan Thee Stallion, did so in its first six weeks in August-September 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus, \u201cLike That\u201d is the first song to spend its first three weeks on the Hot 100 at No. 1 since \u201cFlowers\u201d logged its first six weeks in charge in January-March 2023. Among hip-hop entries, \u201cLike That\u201d is the first title to claim No. 1 in its first three chart weeks since Drake\u2019s \u201cNice for What\u201d dominated in its first four frames in April-May 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, \u201cLike That\u201d is the first song to log any three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in over nine months, since Morgan Wallen\u2019s \u201cLast Night\u201d linked 10 frames in a row on top (of 16 total) in May-July 2023. The streak of 38 weeks between songs\u2019 commands of at least three uninterrupted weeks, between \u201cLast Night\u201d and \u201cLike That,\u201d marks the longest in the Hot 100\u2019s 65-year history. (In that 38-week stretch, five songs each led for at least three weeks, just not consecutively, led by six weeks on top for Jack Harlow\u2019s \u201cLovin on Me\u201d; plus, 10 songs debuted at No. 1 in that span.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLike That\u201d concurrently tops the Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\/\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>\u00a0charts, which use the same multimetric methodology as the Hot 100, for a third week each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two weeks earlier, \u201cLike That\u201d blasted in at No. 1 on the Hot 100 as Future and Lamar\u2019s third leader each and Metro Boomin\u2019s first as a billed recording artist (following two as a writer and producer), as parent LP&nbsp;<em>We Don\u2019t Trust You<\/em>&nbsp;by Future and Metro Boomin bounded in atop the Billboard 200. (The set\u2019s sequel,&nbsp;<em>We Still Don\u2019t Trust You<\/em>, was released April 12 and will impact next week\u2019s charts, dated April 27.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hozier\u2019s \u201cToo Sweet\u201d ascends 4-2 on the Hot 100, winning top Streaming Gainer honors (36.7 million, up 15%). The singer-songwriter ties his prior best rank on the chart, as his breakthrough hit \u201cTake Me to Church\u201d peaked at No. 2 for three weeks in December 2014-January 2015. \u201cToo Sweet\u201d concurrently leads the multimetric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\/\">Hot Rock &amp; Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-rock-songs\/\">Hot Rock Songs<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-alternative-songs\/\">Hot Alternative Songs<\/a>&nbsp;charts for a third week each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Benson Boone\u2019s \u201cBeautiful Things\u201d holds at No. 3 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 2, as it earns the chart\u2019s top Airplay Gainer award for a third consecutive week (57.4 million, up 14%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teddy Swims\u2019 \u201cLose Control\u201d rises 5-4 on the Hot 100, three weeks after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/teddy-swims-lose-control-number-one-hot-100\/\">becoming his first No. 1<\/a>. The single likewise becomes his first leader on Radio Songs (69.7 million, up 6%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/N9bKBAA22Go?si=EWQGMaaLmiYiBYT9\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u201cTexas Hold \u2018Em\u201d slides 2-5 on the Hot 100, after it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/beyonce-texas-hold-em-number-one-hot-100\/\">reigned<\/a>&nbsp;for two weeks in early March. It rules the multimetric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/country-songs\/\">Hot Country Songs<\/a>&nbsp;chart for a ninth week, as her album&nbsp;<em>Cowboy Carter<\/em>&nbsp;tops the Billboard 200 for a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/beyonce-cowboy-carter-second-week-number-one-billboard-200-chart-1235656337\/\">second week<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J. Cole\u2019s \u201c7 Minute Drill\u201d debuts at No. 6 on the Hot 100, led by 23.4 million streams. The song is his 13th top 10 and first since Drake\u2019s \u201cFirst Person Shooter,\u201d on which he\u2019s featured, debuted at No. 1 in October 2023, becoming his first leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On \u201c7 Minute Drill,\u201d J. Cole is widely interpreted as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/j-cole-kendrick-lamar-diss-7-minute-drill-might-delete-later-1235649636\/\">responding<\/a>&nbsp;to Kendrick Lamar\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/kendrick-lamar-like-that-diss-drake-j-cole-1235639356\/\">apparent disses<\/a>&nbsp;directed at himself and Drake&nbsp;in Future, Metro Boomin and Lamar\u2019s \u201cLike That.\u201d Days after&nbsp; releasing \u201c7 Minute Drill,\u201d J. Cole publicly&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/j-cole-regrets-kendrick-lamar-diss-7-minute-drill-1235651302\/\">apologized<\/a>&nbsp;for the track\u2019s arrival, explaining that it doesn\u2019t \u201csit right with my spirit.\u201d The song was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/j-cole-removes-kendrick-lamar-diss-7-minute-drill-streaming-services-1235655544\/\">removed<\/a>&nbsp;from the streaming edition of his album&nbsp;<em>Might Delete Later<\/em>&nbsp;on April 12, one day after the end of the latest charts\u2019 tracking week.
