Over the chart\u2019s 66-year history, the song is now outright the longest-leading No. 1 ever by an artist with no accompanying acts, surpassing the 16-week command of Morgan Wallen\u2019s \u201cLast Night\u201d in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy)\u201d now trails only Lil Nas X\u2019s \u201cOld Town Road,\u201d featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, in 2019, for the longest No. 1 run \u2013 19 weeks \u2013 in the Hot 100\u2019s archives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy),\u201d which became Shaboozey\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/shaboozey-chappell-roan-hot-100-top-10\/\">first Hot 100 leader<\/a>&nbsp;in July, one-ups \u201cLast Night\u201d for the longest reign of the 2020s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy)\u201d additionally extends the longest rule this year, 21 weeks, on the multimetric\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/country-songs\/\">Hot Country Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart. It\u2019s one of only eight titles to reach the milestone since the survey became the genre\u2019s all-encompassing songs chart in 1958. It\u2019s Tyler, The Creator\u2019s third career top 10, all tallied in the past two weeks from his new album,&nbsp;<em>Chromakopia<\/em>, which posts a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/tyler-the-creator-chromakopia-second-week-number-one-billboard-200-chart-1235824962\/\">second week at No. 1<\/a>&nbsp;on the Billboard 200 chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations.
