A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/kendrick-lamar-sza-luther-number-1-hot-100\/\">week earlier<\/a>, the single \u2013 whose title is an ode to late R&amp;B legend&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/luther-vandross\/\">Luther Vandross<\/a>, who is sampled on the track \u2014 became Lamar\u2019s sixth No. 1 and SZA\u2019s third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLuther\u201d is also making unprecedented moves on&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>\u2019s radio airplay charts.
