She does so for a third time \u2014 no one else ever has at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/taylor-swift\/\">Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0claims the top 12 spots on the latest\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-100\">Billboard Hot 100<\/a>, all via her new album,\u00a0<em>The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>. On the chart dated Oct. 18, \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d leads her dozen debuts at No. 1 \u2014 as the 12-song set becomes the first album ever to place all its songs uninterrupted from the top of the chart on down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swift was already the only artist ever to hold the Hot 100\u2019s entire top 10 and now achieves the feat for a third time. She first filled the top 10 thanks to her album\u00a0<em>Midnights<\/em>\u00a0in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/taylor-swift-all-hot-100-top-10-anti-hero-1235163664\/\">November 2022<\/a>\u00a0and outpaced herself via\u00a0<em>The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>\u00a0in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/taylor-swift-hot-100-top-14-fortnight-post-malone-record\/\">May 2024<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 when she stormed the chart\u2019s top 14 positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Whereas the entirety of&nbsp;<em>The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>&nbsp;resides in the Hot 100\u2019s top 12,&nbsp;<em>Midnights<\/em>, along with the top 10, yielded 10 more debuts, between Nos. 13 and 45, for a total of 20 songs from the set in its debut week;&nbsp;<em>The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>&nbsp;in its first frame added another 17 debuts below the top 14 spots, from Nos. 22 to 55, making for 31 total entries from the LP.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d Swift scores her 13th career Hot 100 No. 1, tying for the fourth-most over the chart\u2019s 67-year history. She also ups her count to 69 top 10s, the most among women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ko70cExuzZM?si=Fa4ECV3ywH2mJYh2\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Also notably, the song blasts in with 92.5 million official U.S. streams, according to data tracker Luminate \u2014 the most for a title in a single week since&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/cardi-b-megan-thee-stallion-wap-hot-100-third-week\/\">official streams<\/a>&nbsp;became the metric\u2019s sole contributor to the Hot 100 in September 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/taylor-swift-life-of-a-showgirl-number-one-billboard-200\/\">previously reported<\/a>,&nbsp;<em>The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/music-news\/taylor-swift-life-of-a-showgirl-album-listen-1236080705\/\">released Oct. 3<\/a>&nbsp;on Republic, launches at No. 1 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\/\">Billboard 200<\/a>&nbsp;chart with the biggest week for an album, by equivalent album units and album sales, since Luminate began collecting album data electronically in 1991.
