Sheeran, Perry, Mars and The Weeknd benefit from performances on the Grammy Awards (Feb. 12), while Rihanna ups her count to 30 career top 10s, a milestone that only an elite three acts have now achieved.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s even more: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/6530593\/zayn-malik\/chart\">Zayn<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/371422\/taylor-swift\/chart\">Taylor Swift<\/a> set a new Hot 100 high for a song from the <em>Fifty Shades<\/em> franchise and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/5794072\/the-chainsmokers\/chart\">The Chainsmokers<\/a>&#8216; &#8220;Closer,&#8221; featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/6281104\/halsey\/chart\">Halsey<\/a>, has now spent more time in the top five than any other single in the Hot 100&#8217;s entire 58-year history.<\/p>\n<p>Following yesterday&#8217;s President&#8217;s Day holiday, let&#8217;s kick off a very busy recap of the top 10 of the Hot 100, which blends sales, airplay and streaming data. All charts will update on Billboard.com tomorrow, Feb. 22.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lUtHK55c5z4\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Shape,&#8221; released on Atlantic Records, spends a second week atop the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\">Radio Songs<\/a> chart, up by 9 percent to 145 million in audience in the week ending Feb. 19, according to Nielsen Music, claiming the Hot 100&#8217;s top Airplay Gainer award for a fifth straight week. Following his performance of the song on the Grammys, &#8220;Shape&#8221; resurges 2-1 for a fourth total week atop <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\">Digital Song Sales<\/a> (200,000 downloads sold, up 74 percent, in the week ending Feb. 16). On <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\">Streaming Songs<\/a>, it holds at No. 2 (37.2 million U.S. streams, up 3 percent).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Shape,&#8221; which becomes Sheeran&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/7694327\/ed-sheeran-tops-pop-songs-chart-with-shape-of-you\">second No. 1<\/a> on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/pop-songs\">Pop Songs<\/a> airplay chart, ushers in his third studio album, <em>\u00f7<\/em>, due March 3.<\/p>\n<p>Zayn and Taylor Swift&#8217;s &#8220;I Don&#8217;t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)&#8221; rises 3-2 on the Hot 100, hitting a new peak. As parent album the <em>Fifty Shades Darker<\/em> soundtrack <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/7694288\/fifty-shades-darker-soundtrack-debuts-no-1-billboard-200-album-chart\">debuts at No. 1<\/a> on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\">Billboard 200<\/a>, following its Feb. 10 release and the arrival of the movie the same day, &#8220;Live&#8221; lifts 3-2 on Digital Song Sales (143,000, up 31 percent). It also jumps 5-2 on Radio Songs (109 million, up 10 percent), while keeping at No. 4 on Streaming Songs (21.2 million, down 7 percent).<\/p>\n<div class=\"embedded-content embedded-content--readmore is-embed-initialized\" data-nid=\"7694288\" data-nodetype=\"article\" data-template=\"readmore\"><\/div>\n<p>Just as <em>Fifty Shades Darker<\/em> becomes the franchise&#8217;s first Billboard 200 No. 1, besting the No. 2 peak of 2015&#8217;s <em>Fifty Shades of Grey<\/em>, &#8220;Live&#8221; takes over as the highest-charting <em>Fifty Shades<\/em> Hot 100 hit; it one-ups the No. 3 peaks of the first soundtrack&#8217;s &#8220;Love Me Like You Do&#8221; by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/301654\/ellie-goulding\/chart\">Ellie Goulding<\/a> and &#8220;Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)&#8221; by The Weeknd.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/5650707\/migos\/chart\">Migos<\/a>&#8216; &#8220;Bad and Boujee,&#8221; featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/7340914\/lil-uzi-vert\/chart\">Lil Uzi Vert<\/a>, dips 2-3 on the Hot 100 following three nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1. Still, the track tops the Streaming Songs chart for an eighth week with 47.7 million U.S. streams (up 1 percent). It also leads the audio subscription services-based On-Demand Streaming Songs chart for an eighth week (17.8 million on-demand clicks, down 10 percent).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bad&#8221; falls 8-12 on Digital Song Sales (40,000 downloads sold, down 1 percent) and inches 16-15 on Radio Songs (60 million, down 1 percent). It additionally rules <em>Billboard<\/em>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a> charts for a seventh week each.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8gsGhdZDC-0\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Katy Perry roars onto the Hot 100 at No. 4 with &#8220;Chained to the Rhythm,&#8221; featuring Skip Marley. (The debut marks the highest for a song by a lead female since Adele&#8217;s &#8220;Hello&#8221; launched at No. 1 on Nov. 14, 2015.) &#8220;Rhythm,&#8221; released along with its official lyric video at midnight on Feb. 10 &#8212; followed by Perry and Marley&#8217;s performance of it on the Grammys two nights later &#8212; debuts at No. 3 on Digital Song Sales (108,000 first-week downloads sold) and No. 15 on Streaming Songs (14.7 million), while charging 35-20 on Radio Songs (50 million in audience after its first full week of tracking).<\/p>\n<p>Perry scores her 14th Hot 100 top 10 and the third-highest-debuting of her 25 Hot 100 entries. She bowed higher only with &#8220;Part of Me&#8221; (No. 1, 2012) and &#8220;California Gurls,&#8221; featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/279664\/snoop-dogg\/chart\">Snoop Dogg<\/a> (No. 2, 2010). She earns her first top 10 in nearly three years; she was last in the top 10 in January-June 2014 with &#8220;Dark Horse&#8221; (featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/305353\/juicy-j\/chart\">Juicy J<\/a>), which spent four weeks at No. 1 (marking her ninth leader).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Rhythm,&#8221; whose official proper video was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/pop\/7694364\/katy-perry-trippy-futuristic-chained-to-the-rhythm-video-watch\">released today<\/a> (Feb. 21), previews Perry&#8217;s forthcoming studio album, her first since 2013&#8217;s <em>PRISM<\/em>, expected later this year.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embedded-content embedded-content--readmore is-embed-initialized\" data-nid=\"7678024\" data-nodetype=\"article\" data-template=\"readmore\"><\/div>\n<p>Rounding out the Hot 100&#8217;s top five, The Chainsmokers&#8217; &#8220;Closer&#8221; rebounds 7-5 (after 12 weeks at No. 1), and its latest move is historic, as it rewrites the record for the most weeks logged in the top five: 26, or a full six months. It passes Mark Ronson&#8217;s &#8220;Uptown Funk!,&#8221; featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/298455\/bruno-mars\/chart\">Bruno Mars<\/a> (2015) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/306757\/leann-rimes\/chart\">LeAnn Rimes<\/a>&#8216; &#8220;How Do I Live&#8221; (1997-98), each with 25 top-five frames.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Closer&#8221; also extends its record for the most weeks in the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10 from a title&#8217;s debut, having totaled all 29 of its weeks on the chart in the top 10 since its arrival at No. 9 on Aug. 20. Even more honors: It leads <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/dance-electronic-songs\">Hot Dance\/Electronic Songs<\/a> for a 27th week, the most at No. 1 since the chart&#8217;s January 2013 inception, passing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/280336\/avicii\/chart\">Avicii<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Wake Me Up!&#8221; (26 weeks, 2013-14).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bad Things&#8221; by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/1490226\/machine-gun-kelly\/chart\">Machine Gun Kelly<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.billboard.com\/products\/billboard-back-issue-volume-129-issue-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">current <em>Billboard<\/em> cover star<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/6840044\/camila-cabello\/chart\">Camila Cabello<\/a> drops 5-6 on the Hot 100 after reaching No. 4. It&#8217;s again led by airplay, as it ranks at No. 6 on Radio Songs (92 million, down 13 percent).<\/p>\n<div class=\"embedded-content embedded-content--readmore is-embed-initialized\" data-nid=\"7686238\" data-nodetype=\"article\" data-template=\"readmore\"><\/div>\n<p>Following his Grammys performance of &#8220;That&#8217;s What I Like,&#8221; along with his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/351039\/prince\/chart\">Prince<\/a> tribute, Mars blasts 37-7 on the Hot 100, earning his 14th top 10. The track flies 36-5 on Digital Song Sales (85,000, up 308 percent) and wins the Hot 100&#8217;s top Streaming Gainer award, debuting at No. 20 on Streaming Songs (12.4 million, up 59 percent). It also jumps 36-26 on Radio Songs (43 million, up 22 percent) and, with a 5-1 jump, becomes Mars&#8217; first No. 1 on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-and-b-songs\">Hot R&amp;B Songs<\/a> chart.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Like&#8221; is the follow-up to Mars&#8217; No. 4 Hot 100 hit &#8220;24K Magic&#8221;; as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/7694288\/fifty-shades-darker-soundtrack-debuts-no-1-billboard-200-album-chart\">previously reported<\/a>, the songs&#8217; parent album <em>24K Magic<\/em> surges 7-2 as the Greatest Gainer on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n<p>Rihanna bounds 13-8 on the Hot 100 with &#8220;Love on the Brain,&#8221; marking her landmark 30th top 10. The only acts with more? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/308786\/madonna\/chart\">Madonna<\/a>, with 38, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/383540\/beatles\/chart\">The Beatles<\/a>, with 34. (Rihanna breaks a tie for third place with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/310778\/michael-jackson\/chart\">Michael Jackson<\/a>, who&#8217;s tallied 29 top 10s, as a soloist.)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Brain&#8221; moves 6-5 on Radio Songs (101 million, up 7 percent); 17-18 on Digital Song Sales (36,000, up 8 percent); and 25-21 on Streaming Songs (12.6 million, up 7 percent). Perhaps aiding the song&#8217;s profile in the tracking period, Rihanna received eight Grammy nominations, including best urban contemporary album for &#8220;Brain&#8221; parent set <em>ANTI<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TcvkTXY34Rc\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Want one more new Hot 100 top 10 this week? Fellow Grammys performer The Weeknd vaults 16-9 on the Hot 100 with &#8220;I Feel It Coming,&#8221; featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/300085\/daft-punk\/chart\">Daft Punk<\/a>, after the acts performed the song, as well as prior single &#8220;Starboy,&#8221; at music&#8217;s biggest night. The song is The Weeknd&#8217;s sixth Hot 100 top 10 and Daft Punk&#8217;s third (and second as featured on a hit by The Weeknd, following the No. 1 &#8220;Starboy&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Feel&#8221; ascends 16-7 on Digital Song Sales (55,000, up 65 percent); 8-7 on Radio Songs (83 million, essentially even week-over-week); and 34-28 on Streaming Songs (10.7 million, up 9 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Wait, that&#8217;s four new Hot 100 top 10s, by Perry, Mars, Rihanna and The Weeknd, all in one week. How rare is that kind of turnover? Four songs hadn&#8217;t posted their first weeks each in the top 10 simultaneously in nearly six years: On the April 2, 2011-dated chart, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/385091\/black-eyed-peas\/chart\">The Black Eyed Peas<\/a>&#8216; &#8220;Just Can&#8217;t Get Enough&#8221; (22-5), <em>Glee<\/em> Cast&#8217;s &#8220;Loser Like Me&#8221; (No. 6 debut), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/1486844\/chris-brown\/chart\">Chris Brown<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Look at Me Now,&#8221; featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes (12-8), and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/304467\/jeremih\/chart\">Jeremih<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Down on Me,&#8221; featuring 50 Cent (13-10), all reached the region for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>And, back to 2017: Rounding out the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/281681\/big-sean\/chart\">Big Sean<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Bounce Back&#8221; backtracks from its No. 6 peak to No. 10. The song soared from No. 15 a week ago when his new album <em>I Decided.<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/7686213\/big-sean-scores-second-no-1-album-on-billboard-200-album-chart-with-i\">debuted at No. 1<\/a> on the Feb. 25-dated Billboard 200.
