Rihanna ranks second with 60 weeks at No. 1, followed by The Beatles (59) and Drake (56).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d secures another notable record as it logs its 78th week on the Hot 100, surpassing Dua Lipa\u2019s \u201cLevitating\u201d as the longest-charted title ever by a woman artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yXQViqx6GMY?si=HRTNOjqpmTgMHOzi\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Two weeks earlier, \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/mariah-carey-hot-100-christmas-19-weeks\/\">returned to No. 1<\/a>&nbsp;on the Hot 100 to lead in a record-extending seventh holiday season. It arrived on Carey\u2019s album&nbsp;<em>Merry Christmas<\/em>&nbsp;in November 1994 and, as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/luminatedata.com\/reports\/midyear-music-industry-report-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">streaming grew<\/a>&nbsp;and holiday music became more&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/business\/business-news\/christmas-songs-breaking-through-music-market-1235009608\/\">prominent<\/a>&nbsp;on streaming services\u2019 playlists, it first hit the top 10 in December 2017 and the top five in the 2018 holiday season. It led at last, prior to its three weeks this season, over the holidays&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/business\/chart-beat\/8546418\/mariah-carey-all-i-want-for-christmas-is-you-number-one\">in 2019<\/a>&nbsp;(for three weeks), 2020 (two), 2021 (three), 2022 (four), 2023 (two) and 2024 (four). (Older holiday songs are&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.substack.com\/p\/older-hits-will-now-drop-off-the\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eligible<\/a>&nbsp;to appear on the chart each season.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, holiday hits light up the Hot 100\u2019s top nine spots, with Bobby Helms\u2019 \u201cJingle Bell Rock\u201d galloping to a new No. 2 best and seasonal songs by Nat \u201cKing\u201d Cole and Kelly Clarkson also rising to new highs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations.
