Up from the runner-up spot, it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/ella-langley-choosin-texas-hot-100-number-one\/\">first led<\/a>&nbsp;the list three weeks earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, as \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d rules the Hot 100,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/megan-moroney\/\">Megan Moroney<\/a>\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Cloud 9<\/em>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/megan-moroney-cloud-9-first-number-one-album-billboard-200-1236189872\/\">debuts atop<\/a>&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\/\">Billboard 200<\/a>&nbsp;albums chart \u2014 making Langley and Moroney the first women who primarily record country music to lead&nbsp;<em>Billboard<\/em>\u2019s premier all-genre song and album charts simultaneously, dating to the Hot 100\u2019s August 1958 inception (after the Billboard 200 began publishing on a regular weekly basis March 1956; in four other weeks, men\/women\/group combinations placed country music at No. 1 on the surveys together, but not two women in the same week).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also contributing to the chart double-up for women artists,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/miranda-lambert\/\">Miranda Lambert<\/a>&nbsp;is among the co-writers and co-producers of \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas.\u201d Langley and Lambert co-penned the song with Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor and co-produced it with Ben West.
