Plus,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/j-balvin\/chart\">J Balvin<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/willy-william\/chart\">Willy William<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Mi Gente&#8221; blasts from No. 21 to No. 3, sparked by its newly added featured artist, Beyonce;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/imagine-dragons\/chart\">Imagine Dragons<\/a>&#8216; &#8220;Thunder&#8221; rumbles 17-7; and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/demi-lovato\/chart\">Demi Lovato<\/a>\u00a0hits a new best career rank, as &#8220;Sorry Not Sorry&#8221; rises 10-8 on the latest chart (dated Oct. 21).<\/p>\n<p>As we do every Monday, let&#8217;s run down the top 10 of the Hot 100, which blends all-genre streaming, airplay and sales data. All charts will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Oct. 10).<\/p>\n<p>With three weeks at No. 1, &#8220;Bodak,&#8221; released on The KSR Group\/Atlantic Records, is now the longest-leading Hot 100 No. 1 for a female rapper without any other billed artists. It passes the only other such leader,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/lauryn-hill\/chart\">Lauryn Hill<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Doo Wop (That Thing),&#8221; which ruled for two weeks beginning with its Nov. 14, 1998, debut at No. 1.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid1\" src=\"https:\/\/players.brightcove.net\/1125911414\/HkQQdxRluZ_default\/index.html?videoId=5602793895001\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Bodak&#8221; dips to No. 2 after two nonconsecutive weeks atop the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\">Streaming Songs<\/a>chart, with 47.6 million U.S. streams (down 1 percent) in the week ending Oct. 5, according to Nielsen Music. It drops 3-4 on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>\u00a0with 45,000 downloads sold (down 18 percent) in the week ending Oct. 5 and becomes Cardi B&#8217;s first top 10 on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\">Radio Songs<\/a>\u00a0(11-10), with 72 million all-format audience impressions (up 4 percent) in the week ending Oct. 8.<\/p>\n<p>The breakthrough hit for the Bronx, New York, rapper also spends an eighth week at No. 1 on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart and a sixth frame atop\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Post Malone&#8217;s &#8220;Rockstar,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/21-savage\/chart\">21 Savage<\/a>, logs a third week at No. 2 on the Hot 100, where it&#8217;s ranked in each of its first three weeks on the chart. It also inks a second week atop Streaming Songs (49.7 million, up 16 percent).<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/APHgDFRpCi0\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Mi Gente&#8221; surges from No. 21 to No. 3 on the Hot 100 (after previously reaching No. 19), after the first full week of tracking for its new remix featuring Beyonce, scoring the chart&#8217;s greatest gains in sales and streaming. It rockets 34-1 on Digital Song Sales (79,000 sold, up 436 percent, with 87 percent of its sales from its new remix) and 14-5 on Streaming Songs (28.7 million, up 50 percent), while also climbing 32-29 on Radio Songs (46 million, up 18 percent).<\/p>\n<p>J Balvin and William each earn their first Hot 100 top 10, while Beyonce banks her 17th (as a soloist, to go along with 10 as a member of Destiny&#8217;s Child). She had last reached the region with\u00a0<em>Lemonade<\/em>\u00a0track &#8220;Formation,&#8221; which spent a week at No. 10 (upon its debut) in May 2016. She notches her highest rank since &#8220;Drunk in Love,&#8221; featuring JAY-Z, peaked at No. 2 on Feb. 15, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The two lead artists on &#8220;Mi Gente&#8221; likewise top Digital Song Sales for the first time, while Beyonce tallies her sixth No. 1 on the chart and first in nearly a decade, since &#8220;Singles Ladies (Put a Ring on It)&#8221; reigned for three weeks in 2008-09.<\/p>\n<p>Also impressively, &#8220;Mi Gente&#8221; dethrones\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/luis-fonsi\/chart\">Luis Fonsi<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/daddy-yankee\/chart\">Daddy Yankee<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Despacito,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/justin-bieber\/chart\">Justin Bieber<\/a>, atop the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/latin-songs\">Hot Latin Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart after the latter led for 35 weeks, six weeks shy of tying the record: Enrique Iglesias&#8217; &#8220;Bailando,&#8221; featuring Descemer Bueno and Gente de Zona, ruled for 41 weeks in 2014-15. Balvin earns his fourth Hot Latin Songs leader, while William and Beyonce each achieve their first. Of her four prior appearances, Beyonce had hit a No. 4 high in 2007 with &#8220;Irremplazable,&#8221; her Spanish-language version of her 10-week Hot 100 No. 1 &#8220;Irreplaceable.&#8221; (Her other Hot Latin Songs top 10: the No. 10-peaking &#8220;Beautiful Liar,&#8221; with Shakira, also in 2007.)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mi Gente,&#8221; meanwhile, follows in the footsteps of &#8220;Despacito,&#8221; which bounded to the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10 after Bieber joined as a featured artist and went on to top the Hot 100 for a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/6077132\/longest-leading-hot-100-no-1s\">record-tying 16 weeks<\/a>. This week, it slips 5-9 on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/logic\/chart\">Logic<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;1-800-273-8255,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/alessia-cara\/chart\">Alessia Cara<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/khalid\/chart\">Khalid<\/a>, is steady at No. 4 on the Hot 100 after reaching No. 3;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/taylor-swift\/chart\">Taylor Swift<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Look What You Made Me Do&#8221; descends 3-5, following three weeks at No. 1; and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/portugal-the-man\/chart\">Portugal. The Man<\/a>\u00a0pushes 7-6 with its first top 10, &#8220;Feel It Still,&#8221; which also crowns\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\">Hot Rock Songs<\/a>\u00a0for a second week.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fKopy74weus\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Imagine Dragons add their fourth Hot 100 top 10, as &#8220;Thunder&#8221; storms 17-7. It bullets at No. 2 after a week atop Digital Song Sales (76,000, up 17 percent), helped by its appearance in Microsoft Surface Laptop&#8217;s &#8220;Powerfully Beautiful&#8221;\u00a0ad. It also jumps 41-28 on Streaming Songs (14.7 million, up 15 percent) and 35-25 on Radio Songs (50 million, up 35 percent), winning the Hot 100&#8217;s top Airplay Gainer award.<\/p>\n<p>The group previously hit the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10 with prior single &#8220;Believer&#8221; (down to No. 11 this week after climbing to No. 4); &#8220;Demons&#8221; (No. 6, 2013); and &#8220;Radioactive&#8221; (No. 3, 2013; the song also spent the most time on the Hot 100 in the chart&#8217;s history: 87 weeks).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, of the 58 Hot 100 top 10s in 2017, three have been rock tracks (defined as titles that have hit the Hot Rock Songs chart), with two by Imagine Dragons (&#8220;Believer&#8221; and &#8220;Thunder&#8221;); the other is Portugal. The Man&#8217;s &#8220;Still.&#8221; In 2016, fairly similarly, five of 57 total top 10s were rock, and also by two acts: Prince (two, originally from the &#8217;80s, following his passing) and Twenty One Pilots (three).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/demi-lovato\/chart\">Demi Lovato<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Sorry Not Sorry&#8221; lifts 10-8 on the Hot 100, marking a new personal best; she had previously charted as high as No. 9 with her 2008 Joe Jonas duet &#8220;This Is Me,&#8221; from the Disney movie\u00a0<em>Camp Rock<\/em>\u00a0(starring both singers). (Her two other top 10s each reached No. 10: &#8220;Skyscraper,&#8221; in 2011, and &#8220;Heart Attack,&#8221; in 2013.) &#8220;Sorry&#8221; bullets at No. 13 on Streaming Songs (19.7 million, essentially even week-over-week) and jumps 20-15 on Radio Songs (65 million, up 15 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Below &#8220;Despacito&#8221; on the Hot 100, and capping the top 10,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/french-montana\/chart\">French Montana<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Unforgettable,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/swae-lee\/chart\">Swae Lee<\/a>, falls 8-10, after reaching No. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Just outside the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/charlie-puth\/chart\">Charlie Puth<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Attention&#8221; places at No. 15, after reaching No. 5, and rules Radio Songs for a fifth week (112 million, down 4 percent).
