Drake also arrives at No. 7 with &#8220;Diplomatic Immunity,&#8221; becoming just the second act to debut two songs in the top 10 simultaneously.<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/drake\">Drake<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;God&#8217;s Plan&#8221; launches at No. 1 on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-100\">Billboard Hot 100<\/a>\u00a0chart (dated Feb. 3), blasting in with a record on-demand streaming total in its first week.<\/p>\n<p>The song arrived late on Jan. 19, along with fellow new track &#8220;Diplomatic Immunity,&#8221; which enters the Hot 100 at No. 7, making Drake just the second act to debut two songs in the chart&#8217;s top 10 simultaneously.\u00a0&#8220;Plan&#8221; and &#8220;Immunity&#8221; are paired on Drake&#8217;s new &#8220;Scary Hours&#8221; two-track single, released on Young Money\/Cash Money\/Republic Records. The former is the 1,071st No. 1 in the Hot 100&#8217;s history, which dates to the chart&#8217;s Aug. 4, 1958, inception.<\/p>\n<p>As we do every Monday, let&#8217;s run down the top 10 of the Hot 100, which blends all-genre streaming, airplay and sales data. All charts will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Jan. 30<em>).<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid1\" src=\"https:\/\/players.brightcove.net\/1125911414\/HkQQdxRluZ_default\/index.html?videoId=5721751720001\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>No. 1 in streaming &amp; sales:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Plan&#8221; soars in at No. 1 on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\">Streaming Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart, with 82.4 million U.S. streams in the week ending Jan. 25, according to Nielsen Music. The sum marks the fourth-greatest for a title in a week on Streaming Songs, after Baauer&#8217;s &#8220;Harlem Shake&#8221; (103.1 million and 97.6 million in its first and second weeks, March 2 and 9, 2013, respectively, driven largely by viral videos incorporating the song&#8217;s official audio) and Taylor Swift&#8217;s &#8220;Look What You Made Me Do&#8221; (84.5 million; Sept. 16, 2017).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Plan&#8221; also starts at No. 1 on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>\u00a0with 127,000 downloads sold in the week ending Jan. 25. With the song&#8217;s airplay promotion just beginning, it also boasts 24 million in all-format airplay audience in the week ending Jan. 28 (and ranks just below the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\">Radio Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart).<\/p>\n<p>Drake notches his eighth Digital Song Sales No. 1 and his third leader on Streaming Songs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On-demand streaming record:<\/strong>\u00a0On the audio subscription services-based On-Demand Streaming Songs chart, &#8220;Plan&#8221; vaults in with a record 68 million on-demand U.S. streams. That shatters the prior weekly mark, set when Kendrick Lamar&#8217;s&#8217; &#8220;Humble.&#8221; launched at No. 1 with 44.4 million on May 6, 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drake&#8217;s fourth No. 1:<\/strong>\u00a0Drake earns his fourth Hot 100 No. 1 and second as a lead artist. He first ruled as featured on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rihanna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rihanna<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;What&#8217;s My Name?,&#8221; which topped the Nov. 20, 2010-dated chart , and then as featured on her &#8220;Work,&#8221; which began a nine-week reign on March 5, 2016. He followed with his own &#8220;One Dance,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/wizkid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WizKid<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/kyla\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kyla<\/a>, which dominated for 10 weeks beginning May 21, 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 1 debut:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Plan&#8221; marks Drake&#8217;s first debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100. It&#8217;s the chart&#8217;s first since\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/dj-khaled\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DJ\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/dj-khaled\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Khaled<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;I&#8217;m the One,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/justin-bieber\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Justin Bieber<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/quavo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quavo<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chance-the-rapper\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chance the Rapper<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/lil-wayne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lil Wayne<\/a>, which roared in on top May 20, 2017. &#8220;One&#8221; is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/photos\/426225\/billboard-hot-100-no-1-song-debuts\">29th title to debut at No. 1<\/a>\u00a0on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two debuts in top 10:<\/strong>\u00a0With &#8220;Plan&#8221; and &#8220;Immunity&#8221; new at No. 1s and 7, respectively, Drake is just the second artist to debut two songs in the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10 simultaneously. On Jan. 28, 2017,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/ed-sheeran\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ed Sheeran<\/a>\u00a0opened at No. 1 with &#8220;Shape of You&#8221; and at No. 6 with &#8220;Castle on the Hill.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ygS_Cwng7IU\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Immunity&#8221; opens at No. 6 on Streaming Songs with 28.4 million U.S. streams. On On-Demand Songs, &#8220;Immunity&#8221; bows at No. 2 with 25.2 million. Twice before in the latter chart&#8217;s nearly five-year history had an artist debuted at Nos. 1 and 2 concurrently, with one prior week also by Drake: on Dec. 31, 2016,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/j-cole\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">J. Cole<\/a>\u00a0opened at Nos. 1-7, led by &#8220;Deja Vu&#8221; at No. 1; on April 8, 2017, Drake began at Nos. 1-6, paced by &#8220;Passionfruit&#8221; at No. 1.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Immunity&#8221; begins at No. 4 on Digital Song Sales with 39,000 sold.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Higher power:<\/strong>\u00a0Drake&#8217;s new No. 1 marks the third Hot 100 leader with &#8220;God&#8221; in its title. Answer at the end of this story.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 1 on Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs &amp; Hot Rap Songs:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Plan&#8221; concurrently launches at No. 1 on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-b-hip-hop-songs\">Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rap-song\">Hot Rap Songs<\/a>\u00a0charts. Drake tallies his 17th leader on the former ranking and record-extending 18th on the latter;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/lil-wayne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lil Wayne<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/diddy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diddy<\/a>\u00a0follow with 10 Hot Rap Songs No. 1s each.<\/p>\n<p><strong>159 on the Hot 100:<\/strong>\u00a0With two debuts, Drake additionally ups his count to 159 career Hot 100 entries, extending his mark for the most among soloists in the chart&#8217;s archives. Among all acts, only the cast of Fox&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Glee<\/em>\u00a0has totaled more (207).<\/p>\n<p><strong>U.S. &amp; U.K.:<\/strong>\u00a0Along with its entrance atop the Hot 100, Drake&#8217;s &#8220;Plan&#8221; concurrently\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8096651\/drake-lands-third-uk-no-1-single-with-gods-plan\">debuts at No. 1<\/a>\u00a0on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/official-uk-songs\">Official UK Singles<\/a>\u00a0chart. It&#8217;s the first song to open atop both tallies in the same week since DJ Khaled&#8217;s &#8220;I&#8217;m the One&#8221; (last May 20).<\/p>\n<p>Drake earns his third Official UK Singles chart No. 1, after &#8220;What&#8217;s My Name&#8221; and &#8220;One Dance&#8221;; the latter led for 15 weeks in 2016, the chart&#8217;s longest command this decade.<\/p>\n<p>As for the rest of the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10 \u2026 Sheeran&#8217;s &#8220;Perfect&#8221; holds at No. 2 after six weeks at No. 1. It tops Radio Songs for a fourth week (152 million, essentially even week-over-week).\u00a0After\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8095345\/camila-cabello-havana-young-thug-hot-100-number-1\">ascending to No. 1<\/a>\u00a0on the Hot 100 a week ago,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/camila-cabello\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Camila\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/camila-cabello\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cabello<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Havana,&#8221; featuring Young Thug, drops to No. 3.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/post-malone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Post Malone<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Rockstar,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/21-savage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">21 Savage<\/a>, retreats 3-4 on the Hot 100, after leading for eight weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the Hot 100&#8217;s top five,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/bruno-mars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bruno Mars<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/cardi-b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cardi B<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Finesse&#8221; falls 4-5, after reaching No. 3. The track tops\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/r-and-b-songs\">Hot R&amp;B Songs<\/a>\u00a0for a third week. It claims the Hot 100&#8217;s top airplay gain, as it boosts 10-8 on Radio Songs (74 million, up 17 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Halsey&#8217;s &#8220;Bad at Love&#8221; drops to No. 6 from its No. 5 Hot 100 high and, below Drake&#8217;s &#8220;Immunity&#8221; at No. 7,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/dua-lipa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dua\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/dua-lipa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lipa<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;New Rules&#8221; holds at its No. 8 peak; as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/chart-beat\/8096819\/dua-lipa-new-rules-pop-songs-chart-number-one\">previously reported<\/a>, &#8220;Rules&#8221; becomes her first No. 1 on the Pop Songs airplay chart.<\/p>\n<p>Capping the Hot 100&#8217;s top 10, Imagine Dragons&#8217; No. 4-peaking &#8220;Thunder&#8221; slips 6-9 on the Hot 100, as it rules\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/rock-songs\">Hot Rock Songs<\/a>\u00a0for a 13th week, while\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/g-eazy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">G-Eazy<\/a>&#8216;s fellow No. 4 hit &#8220;No Limit,&#8221; featuring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/asap-rocky\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A$AP Rocky<\/a>\u00a0and Cardi B, slides 7-10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quiz answer:<\/strong>\u00a0Drake&#8217;s &#8220;God&#8217;s Plan&#8221; is the third Hot 100 leader with &#8220;God&#8221; in its title.
